These Bible verses flash cards are a great way to help remember certain verses as well as to memorize them. The color-coded cards are pretty sturdy and roughly a little more than half the size of your open palm. The section of where in the Bible you would find the verse is written on the front of the cards as well as the particular category it might fall into such as wisdom, healing, hope, etc. Then on the back is the corresponding verse itself although they give 2 versions of it, one on top of the other which we found a bit confusing for our elderly parent. There are 100 of them which makes a nice set.The 3 drawbacks for us are: 1. They should only have 1 version of the verse on the back and then the print could be much larger as well (these really aren't large print, just larger than standard typing but they do use an easy to read font) and 2. the plastic 'rings' that hold each group of cards are pretty cheap and flimsy, they don't stay closed well and we don't think they will last. It's a great idea, but they need to be metal so they'll last with the cards. 3. Why is there a small number at the bottom of each card? It's confusing to an elderly person who is reading the card, especially anyone with dementia. Overall, they are recommended.

I am very satisfied with the 100 Memory Bible Verses Flash Cards (NIV, KJV).The cards arrived today and I poured over them. The flashcards are a bigger size - not something you can stuff in a back pocket. Not without creasing it. Each card is 3 1/2 inches by 4 1/4 inches. They are thicker than an index card, but still more like stiff paper than cardboard. They have a smooth finish on them. Not like plastic, but it feels like it might repel water.The cards advertise that they are large print. I was going to say that I didn't think the print was that large, but then I realized that I was reading them without my glasses on. The capital letters are an eighth of an inch.I love flashcards! I have flashcards for learning another language, for the kids to learn their spelling and sight words, flashcards for math facts, and more. If you need to learn something, there is probably a flashcard for that. Of course just flashing the flashcard and spouting facts isn't very interesting, but online you can find several ways to use flashcards to help retain information.I love that these flashcards are sorted by category. If you are feeling sad, there is a section on encouragement. You can pull one or more of those Bible verses to learn. Want to teach your children about wisdom? Begin with those Bible verses. And of course, the one Bible verse that is probably the most important in the Bible, the one most of us learn first, is there. John 3:16. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."The cards are so big, because they include both the King James version and the New International version. These are the top two best-selling Bible versions today. They differ in that the King James is a literal word-for-word translation. This makes it more accurate, but it can also make the meaning a bit obscure. The NIV version is less accurate, as it is an idea-for-idea translation, but it is often easier to understand.So if you are serious about improving your knowledge and memory of the Bible, these cards can be a great teaching aid. These are 100 of the most popular, best-loved verses, though. So if you already have a lot of verses memorized, this box might be too basic.

Found a couple errors like the wrong verse written to the reference, though interestingly KJV was right and NIV was 1 John instead of John 1 so it was easy to see what the reality was. I love the large print they were larger than I anticipated. The comparison of KJV to NIV is good to have the parallel as KJV was the common language in the time the translation was mandated by the proud king of England and God used it for His glory but not a lot of us know all the vocabulary and word usage that was spoken then. As far as the NIV, I would have preferred NKJV, CSB, NASB or ESV instead of NIV for some recent compromises they've made in the version.The verses they chose are on the whole great to memorize, some are a bit out of context without the surrounding verses- but that just gets me wanting to read the rest of the part of God Word which is all about JESUS CHRIST! So glory to GOD!

These flashcards are a wonderful way for kids and grownups to learn and remember bible verses. They are small enough to fit in a shirt pocket to carry them with you at all times. Whenever you have a free moment, pull them and test yourself or your grandkids I've been using them while in the waiting room at my doctor's office, in the car waiting on the kids to get out of school and so on.
