Nice to have a different shaped wholewheat pasta.

This is our favourite pasta, but not cheap.
It's becoming harder and harder to find less-usual wholemeal pasta varieties, so we were pleased to find mafalda corta available online. Sainsburys used to stock it in what was then our local superstore, and we ate a lot of i , but we haven't seen it an any shops recently. tr works very well with sauces, and as it's 'corta' it's easier to eat than long pasta. We ordered two bags, which arrived quickly, and were pleased with the quality. It's not the cheapest pasta, and the delivery costs add to tha,t so we're hoarding the second bag for a specia loccasion. . ..but it is very nice.

Superb pasta
Absolutely beautiful wholewheat pasta. So easy to cook and it isn't like eating cardboard! It has not been a hardship to change to this pasta. My whole family love it and have not missed the more traditional white pastas. This is so much more flavoursome.

Excellent, even if you'd rather be eating white pasta
I have foisted some wholewheat pasta on my poor husband, who had a few dodgy test results. I picked Garofalo as I already trusted the brand. In a tomato-based sauce, my chap barely notices the difference. When I last tried brown pasta a good few years ago, it had a cardboard-related quality, but this is entirely different. Some pasta has to be white - I myself didn't love the spaghetti - but this is an excellent substitution for other dishes. Half our pasta meals are now wholemeal.
