2200 dollars is not too much to pay for a camera that delivers as this one does. I am a dedicated amateur who appreciates good equipment and this has not disappointed. The one feature that I appreciate the most is the ability to take ten shots per second. Although my primary interest is food photography, in my spare time I like to take nature shots and nothing at the same price point allows me to take great shots of birds and wildlife like the rapid fire shooting capability of my 7D. One day I may be tempted to spring for a 5D but I am sure that I will keep this body. It pleased me well.

I am very disappointed in this camera. The auto focus does not work like it should. I have been in contact with Cannon. It will cost a lot of money to get it fixed. I can not return the product because of the time that has passed. I have had this camera for only 3 months and have been fighting with it every time i use it. I was trying to give it the benefit. I did the update and still does not work well. I also can't register this camera do it it was not intended to be sold in the USA. I am not stuck with a camera that I fight with to get to auto focus every time I use it.

for the little buffer of the nikon D7100 I made the switch to Canon for this camera the other thing was the 10fps. for what i read in reviews the 7DMII is like a mini 1Dx. the great AF fully exceeded my expectations in every way, It is fast and accurate. The 7D ii is built extremely well and the controls are superior. the dual card slots (CF/SD) is really excellent. The menu system great, well laid out and informative

This camera is a all in one must have for anyone doing serious photography and video. Th 6 point HD video auto focus is awesome and the processor make taking fast moving back to back pictures a breeze. If you are serious about you're business this camera is for you.

I love that it has both the flash and the scan cards - never fill a card. Great photos every time. I do not like that I have to push a button to change the settings instead of just turning the dial. That is very inconvenient. Other than that, it more than lives up to he Canon name and quality.
