This is the real black stuff
I don't like black pudding. In fact I hate it full stopHowever my friend next door loves it and especially this company's make. It's tangy and different from the other one he saysThen he asked me to try it. Low and behold I really enjoyed it full of flavour a hint of hotness yes very niceI ordered haggis as well in fact 3 different types for my St. ANDREW.S nightThe pudding was a bit small and I liked the horse shoe presentation. But it's only really for 1 Person I guess

Not Enough.....I want more...
Never had smoked pudding before and have to say it was very pleasant. We are abit nuts about these type of puddings in our house and have to say - That I was very impressed with the delivery...the packaging and then the best bit....the taste. Went down really well in the house. Won't hesitate to buy again and would not hesitate to recommend

Better than some, but not excellent
Don’t want to sound too harsh. It’s not bad let’s get that right. The main issues are 1) the price verses the quantity of black pudding you receive and how much postage and packing costs and 2) If this was premium black pudding, I’d happily pay whatever the postage is, but not for stuff that’s “just ok”. I can get that at the local butcher. Maybe my standards are too high? Postage costs are particularly steep though and that takes away a lot from value for money.

Smoked Black Pudding
I was very happy with the speed of the delivery. The taste was amazing, I ate it raw with some salt, it had just the right amount of smokiness which wasn't overpowering.RegardsTim

Be Careful... it was horrible (to my taste, you might love it!❤️
This is NOTHING like the Lancashire Black Pudding I was looking for. Memories of childhood with my Grandma...This 'Smoked' version was the most disgusting version. The whole lot went in the bin. I was sick, even now, the memory of this, can still make me gag Entirely my fault, I should have just bought 'one'. It would have been cheaper to drive to Bury. Even now, I can still bring bring that 'smell' and even worse, the taste...I doubt I will ever eat anything 'smoked' again. The most disgusting thing I have ever wasted money on. Others may love it. Not for me... my fault.

Better tasting than supermarket product
More flavour then a mass produced product. Arived well packed (see phesant review). The only slight niggle was it was a bit crumbley when sliced. But still used the small bits to add flavour to the gravy.

Prefer Unsmoked
Good quality but in my mind black pudding tastes better unsmoked.
