A. The hole is too big for the peg to do any good.B. It is totally flimsy. It does NOTHING to hold the strap on. It will come right off. Do not waste your money on this brand.

I bought these for my acoustic guitars, because the end-pin strap button jack, does not allow for traditional strap locks. The diameter of the end pin button is larger than the strap pins on my electric guitars. As I try to push the rubber strap lock around the pin, they just split. They tear easily. Seems that if they were made of real rubber, they might work. They might work on smaller strap pins, but they break so easily, I wouldn't trust them.

I had several guitar playing friends over and gave pairs of these away as part of a gift package, the first one that tried to use them had it break while trying to slip it on. I had one break on me as well. Really can’t recommend something that fails so easily.

I have these on all my guitars and basses. They don’t look noticeable on stage, they’re easy to take off if you need to remove your strap, and they prevent your guitar from falling. I far prefer these to adding actual strap locks, especially on vintage or pricey instrument that I don’t want to put different screws in. These work really well.

They're alright.... but, will break on you trying to put them on. So, if you need 2 buy 4, and so on... otherwise you will regret it. The material is something like what is used for roofing. So, if it's bent just a little too much....it breaks. Otherwise, once they're on, they're on.... haven't had any problems them coming off.

How did it go so long without knowing these existed? Probably because I didn’t really have any strap issues until recently. If you’re contemplating a strap locking solution, you might as well start here. Simple, affordable, elegant, and they even have some subtle little stars in printed on them. So far, so good; strap is staying on guitar.

The headline pretty much says it all. They work as advertised. Keep in mind though, if you have a thick strap, you may have difficulty getting them on. Basically, if you have a thick strap, you probably don't need one of these anyway. I would definitely buy them again if needed.

After wasting money on more expensive strap lock systems by the popular brands that always broke, I decided to start using these a few years ago. I haven't had a single issue with these at all. They aren't fancy but they do a solid job of keeping my strap from coming loose.
