Extech CO100 Air Quality Carbon Dioxide Monitor

Expensive but accurate! Reads correct temp within a degree. % humidity also seems accurate. GRATE to know (+ or - 75) CO2 reading is accurate. I recomend this to anyone that wants to know CO2 of indoor enviorment! Buy this NOT Acu Rite.

I have access to an industrial quality ambient CO2 meter and checked the CO100 against it, difference of 10ppm at 660ppm levels. I give this 4 stars because the backlight helps keep the rather dark LCD visible, and this is plug-in only. Why not have it possible to stay on? As well, unplugging it momentarily wipes the time and date setting, less of an issue but also not as satisfying

turned out it was supposed to be carbon monoxide detectors, had to send these back.

Totally worthless. Control buttons don't work. Ended up in trash.

Works well, gives us a lot of reassurance as our baby is in a small nursery, this lets us know that the ventilation is working well and the humidity levels aren't getting too high / low for her. Would recommend.

I used this monitor to check the CO2 in my home office. I was happy with its functionality but then one day it took a small fall (from about waist height to a carpeted floor). After that, its reading has been off by about 200ppm or more, and there's no way to calibrate it. The fall was preventable but I would have expected a $260 unit to be more robust than that. Netatmo Additional Module for Weather Station, Aluminium is cheaper with similar functionality, for example.

This CO2 meter works well but the design could be a little better. It is also pricey, hence the 4 star rating. We use it all the time now to ensure the rooms we spend a lot of time in are well ventilated. Everyone is so keen to hermetically seal their house to prevent heat loss, but forgets that ventilation is essential to move the CO2 out, or levels will rise and end up making you feel groggy in the morning and headachy. This unit would benefit from having a back light function and a back up battery as it has to be permanently plugged in to mains and the cord is not very long.

Dabei ist dieses Gerät noch extrem schnell. Man muss keine 1/2 Stunde warten, bis die Werte korrekt angezeigt werden. (++) zuschaltbares Licht (+) Es gibt 4 verschiedene Stromanschlussadapter (+) Werte sind übersichtlich angeordnet (+) Messung in 2s Intervallen(es gibt eine "Hold" Taste zum festhalten der Messwerte, sonst würden sie sich ständig ändern, solange man davor steht) (+) Aufhängung vorhanden(Haken, Schraube oder ähnliches in die Wand) (+) sehr schnell einsatzbereit (+) nicht nur die Alarme lassen sich einstellen, sondern auch die Grenzen für Good-Normal & Normal-Poor (+) Umschalter für °C und °F (0) Anleitung in Deutsch, Englisch, Französisch, Italienisch, Spanisch & Portugiesisch (0) Uhr und Datum werden mit angezeigt, muss man allerdings händisch einstellen und kennt auch keine Zeitumstellung (-) Fronttasten sind schlecht lesbar (-) Messintervalle nicht einstellbar (-) Anleitung informiert einen nicht über das Kalibrieren nach jedem Stromanschließen (-) Das Gerät ist doch recht tief, womit eine hängende Montage nicht jedem gefallen würde (-) Kein Batteriebetrieb möglich, wohl der "Echtzeitmessung" geschuldet (-) Tastenton nicht abstellbar (-) Display könnte mehr Kontrast vertragen (-) Nur englische Anzeigen (--) keine extra Taste für das Licht - Man muss jedes mal etwas drücken, was man nicht will. Die Tasten sind natürlich auch solange nicht beleuchtet, d.h. man muss im Dunkeln eine Taste suchen, die man nicht sieht, wenn man nicht versehentlich den Alarm einschalten will.
