I’ve been trying to switch to cleaner oral care products, and this Happy Tooth Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste has been a great find so far. I like that it’s fluoride-free and SLS-free, but still formulated with hydroxyapatite, which is known for helping support enamel and remineralization. The fresh mint flavor is mild and pleasant—not overpowering like some toothpastes—so it feels comfortable to use twice a day. It leaves my mouth feeling clean and smooth without that overly foamy texture you get from many conventional toothpastes. I also appreciate that the ingredient list is fairly simple and marketed as “clean,” which was important to me when choosing a toothpaste for both adults and kids. Another plus is that it doesn’t cause the sensitivity I sometimes get from whitening formulas. My teeth feel polished after brushing, and the freshness lasts a while. Overall, this is a good option for anyone looking for a fluoride-free toothpaste with hydroxyapatite and gentler ingredients. The only downside is that it’s a bit more expensive than regular toothpaste, but the ingredient quality and formula make it worth considering.

This is the only tooth paste we use in our house now! It’s truly amazing. My favorite thing about it is that the taste is not too strong. It works great for sensitive teeth. It makes your teeth actually feel clean and doesn’t leave tooth paste residue behind. There is actually no need to even rinse your mouth after brushing. You only need a small amount and best of all it does not bubble. It has a smooth texture and is not gritty. This toothpaste is worth every penny and is a staple in our house. My child also loves the orange flavor as well. It makes my breath fresh without being too overpowering in mint. Another favorite is that it’s safe for my kids!

My (then) 6yr son had need 2 crowns placed. The dentist started him on a prescription fluoride rinse and he brushed and flossed twice a day. At the next 6 month check up he had some areas to watch so they switched us to prescription fluoride toothpaste, with the same daily regimen. At the next 6 month appointment, he needed 3 more crowns!! The dentist just shrugged and said some kids are just prone to cavities and there’s nothing to do. I started researching and learned about hydroxyapetite and found this brand, so I decided to switch to it. My son loved the vanilla frosting flavor! Due to a job/insurance change, it was a year between cleaning appointments since the last crown placement. We went yesterday and I was a nervous wreck, expecting the worst. BUT my son had ZERO cavities!! Perfect report! The dentist said he was doing a great job! I credit it all to this toothpaste- it obviously does what it says it will do to help with enamel and remineralization. We are soooo happy and will remain customers forever!

Great toothpaste so far. First time user and I’ve used it about 2 weeks now. I love the vanilla flavor. I love how it really brightens my teeth. I’m not sure what ingredient is doing it but it does whiten my teeth and I love brushing with it. It’s nicely sweet, not overly sweet and true to flavor of a vanilla cupcake! I always liked the mint mouth feeling making my mouth feel fresh, but surprisingly, this vanilla flavor does too. It gets rid of the food taste left behind from my meals and my teeth feel fresh, clean, and sweet. This has also helped with my burning mouth syndrome (BMS) and dry mouth. It keeps it nice and salivated. The other thing I like is that it is non-nano hydroxyapatite. Nano stuff just scares me a bit and I’ll take micro or regular form for now. These are just my thoughts and opinions based on what I know and learned through research. On to some caveats that might be helpful to know: It’s thick. Like, really thick. I have to use a lot of force to get it out of the tube. It does not foam. If you’re used/like having a foamy toothpaste, you are more than likely not going to like this as it doesn’t lather. Rather, it coats the teeth/mouth and loosens up as you brush. You kinda have to give it a “warm up”. *Helpful note: Don’t wet your brush or the toothpaste. It will really dilute it down. Dry brush the toothpaste with your toothbrush. Brush it around all over and then start brushing manually or with the electric. It will help it “melt down” and last longer. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I just ordered another one since I liked it so much, but the seal (yes, they come sealed!) was torn off and the toothpaste was suuuuuuper hard. Remember I said it was already hard to start off with? Yeah, this was waaaaaaay more hard like it got dried out. So, it was defective. Just make sure to check your packaging once it arrives instead of learning about it later when you’re past a return window. I feel bad taking a star away because I like this toothpaste so much, but since I’m a new user, I don’t know how often this happens and if it’s a known defect. For that, I can’t confidently rate it 5 stars for you. Hope this helps!

Love this tooth paste! I have always had cavities and thought about ditching fluoride. Dentist said absolutely not. I switched to this a year ago and went to the dentist for the first time in 2 years and NO cavities!
