I’ve been a fan of Bulleit Bourbon for years, but the 10 Year Old expression takes things to a whole new level. The extra aging brings out an incredible depth of flavor that makes this bottle stand out from the rest of their range. The aroma is fantastic, with rich notes of caramel, vanilla, and oak, followed by a subtle hint of spice. On the palate, the flavor is smooth, complex, and well-balanced. I get a nice mix of dried fruits, toffee, and toasted oak, with a slight peppery kick that lingers pleasantly. The finish is long and warming, making each sip incredibly satisfying. This bourbon is incredibly versatile—it’s perfect for sipping neat, but also shines in cocktails like an Old Fashioned or Manhattan. While it’s a bit pricier than the standard Bulleit offerings, the extra aging and refined flavor profile definitely justify the cost.
