It's cathartic to pound meat into a tender entree-ready state, and this meat pounder works well. Its heft makes it easy to flatten chicken breasts and thicker cuts of meat, and its size is easy to handle. Washing is easy, and it appears to be very durable. Time will tell, but I'm happy to have it for my meal prep!

Beat meat pounder; does not tear the chicken, etc. Great for crushing dry good; ie, croutons, dried herbs, cereal.

Good weight and easy to control

TWO tools in one! Great meat mallet, won’t tear meat or chicken. ALSO great for tamping down and compacting anything, such as a graham cracker crust. Does a far better job than the ‘ole bottom of a juice glass! I recommend wrapping plastic wrap tightly around the whole thing. Use nonstick spray in necessary.

After 25 years of using a tenderize style I am a total convert to this style. So easy, works super fast. Highly recommend!
