I love the hat, but like many reviewers, hate the packaging. I assumed after the negative reviews the shipper would have fixed it. The hat is about 5 inches tall. It was squished into a 3 inch tall box and the brim was folded over so it has a crease in it. The material looks like straw, but is polyester. Hopefully I can flatten it with steam and a warm iron.

This hat is of sound construction and style. I like it and still have hope for hours, days and years of pleasurable wear. Its just that the packaging was inadequate. The box was too short to protect the hat and a lopsided crease formed in the front crown area during shipping.Oh well. rather than send it back, I'm gonna try to work it out over time. I did like the $20 price point. It's a Chinese import, but nicely done.Highly Recommended !!!

I wear a 7 5/8 to 7 3/4, depending on the hat maker. This hat was too small. They advertise that it fits larger sizes, but it does not; I had to return it. I really like the style and am disappointed that they do not make it in my size. If/when they do, I will re-order.

Too large for head, didn't seem to be able to order a small in the men's hat. Otherwise it seems to fill the bill. Covers ears and nape of neck.

hat came in a box that was not the size for it left a dent on it will work its self out in time size is a little bigger then they say it was but the time to sent it back ? I will work with it

This hat would had looked a lot better if it was shipped properly. I received the hat allcrumpled and flat. It was folded every which way and the shipper did not have a care.What a disgrace and unfair for this hat.
