Finally something that works
Thank heaven that finally there is a solution to the Epson clogging problem, over the years I have bought new printers because of it, but NO MORE this actually works just follow the instructions and low and behold the ink runs fine. If it costs a pack a year it is better than the £200+ for a new top end printer and bye the way I no longer use Epson ink I use multipack which is less than a £1 a cartridge and all is well, so all in all I am now a very happy cost effective Epson printer user, thanks to this brilliant product.

Ruined my printer...
Used this product exactly as the instructions tell you to - ended up ruining the printer.MY printer (Epson Stylus sx600fw) did partially work before using this product, but some of the ink colours were stripey and slightly blocked. After using this however, NO ink came out at all. I ran the printer through some cleans, printed block pages of colour etc, with no effect. Printer is completely ruined. As another review said - the liquid is injected straight through the print head and down onto other components inside the printer. When you retract the syringe, very little of that liquid comes back out (around 5% of it) leaving the rest somewhere in the printer, impossible to get to in my case without dismantling the whole thing. This may work for some models of printer, I dont know - but if you plan to try it, proceed with caution. I am pretty tech savvy, and couldn't recommend his product to anyone based on my experience with it.

Connector between Jet and syringe very secure.
My Epson Stylus Photo R2880 printer had been idle for a year. The pigment had settled out in the cartridges and when the printer was started the thickened ink blocked the ink jets. I used Clever Clogs to clean the jets and then the filled cartridges were installed. At first all the indicator lights were on red so I could not run a head clean. I tried everything I could think of and in desperation I pressed the on/off button and the Ink Drop buttons at the same time. The printer turned off and on restart all the cartridges were recognised and after three head cleans I obtained a PERFECT NOZZLE CHECK!! The Clever Clogs connector cartridges connect very securely to the top of the jets and the syringes lock securely into the top of the connector cartridge. The ink supplied does work well but as it is a two-handed job to fill the syringe it is all too easy to knock the cleaning solution container over. I suggest putting the cleaner containers in a cup to stop them falling over when filling the syringes. After losing one in this way I found that one cleaner tub does not last very long. As I could not obtain another container of cleaner I ended up making up a mixture of my own which I found just as effective at a cost of just a few pence.

Should have taken notice of other reviews
Ok the product was easy enough to use, everything seemed to be going fine.Turned the printer back on, did a nozzle check no improvement, did a nozzle clean.Towards the end of the clean the printer came up with an error and shutdown.Printer will now no longer start up without the error message, followed by a shutdown.Ok I was pretty desperate to use this product in the first place, but as the printer was an all in one have now also lost a scanner. My printer is an epson px710w, a printer this product is apparently compatible with!!Not from my experience.Don't now what this cleaning solution does to the printer head or internals of the printer, but is obviously not for the good.

Managed to save my printer
It took several attemps but the last one worked best. I already tried in 3 or 4 times and left if with a soaked tissue under the printerheads for 3 days. The amount of ink that came out of the printer was amazing. Good thing it came with 2 bottles of fluid because I nocked over the first one and realy needed the second one to finish the job.

Permajet not so clever clogs
This product has not worked for me.It's a good concept though, it uses a dummy cartridge to allow you to squirt cleaning fluid into the print head, after a set period of time you use the syringe to suck the fluid back out again. Well that's the theory, in practice it only sucks up a fraction of what was squirted in and you are left with a print head full of clear liquid. My advise is, if your Epson printer is not working, throw it away and buy a different brand, do not waste money on the Permajet kit.

A word of warning
I purchased what is for all intents and purposes exactly the same product, although branded slightly differently (as "Clever Clogs") it contains identical components. It was labelled as being ok to use in my Epson 2100 printer. In short, it broke my printer. This product basically just pushes large amounts of cleaning liquid through your print head via the syringe supplied. Unlike some more advanced kits where replacement fake cartridges hold the ink themselves, in this kit there is no holding of the cleaning liquid. Its simply forced through via the syringe in your hands. In the case of my epson photo 2100, following the instructions carefully I realise in retrospect that this resulted in way too much liquid being forced through the print heads. I believe what happened is that a lot of this liquid simply came out of the bottom of the print head and onto electronic components below inside the printer. Its a slight flaw of the epson 2100 that the further most left cartridge or two are placed above the ends of a pcb. It was these far left heads that were clogged and I used the cleaning product on.So before using this make sure that your printer, in its resting position or cartridge replacement position is not at all over any components that could be effected to an unnatural amount of liquid being ejected onto them from the print heads above!
