Great with strong cheese
I bought this as it was on offer at Christmas and the description intrigued me. It's certainly an intense wine, the aroma has a hint of Christmas pudding to me with dried fruit and the whiskey note coming to the fore. It's certainly not a sweet red wine but it is fruity and pallet cleansing. I've served this with a cheese and cured meat board and everyone enjoyed it. It cuts through the fatty salami and powerful cheese brilliantly. I'll definitely be buying again, even at it's usual £10 it still offers good value for money. I hope you find my review helpful.

EXCELLENT QUALITY FOR ITS PRICE
The Double Barrel Jacobs Creek is without doubt a first rate wine for its price range. quite heavy, so you'll to like full bodied wine to thoroughly enjoy this wine.. We've placed many a order with this supplier over quite a period... Its always delivered on time and exceptionally well boxed. The only annoyance for us i have is that some times the product is rationed to a max of 3 bottles , we prefer to buy 6 to 12 at a time also the price can vary I guess as demand dictates.

Beautiful tasting red wine
I’m a big red wine connoisseur and couldn’t wait to try this. It’s full bodied with a lovely whiskey smoky finish. Only problem is once you open it, doesn’t take long to consume. Will definitely be ordering more! And recommending this to other red wine lovers.
