Perfect fit 👍👍
This made my Jeep so much better because now the tire that I have which is a 35 drops down below the third brake light so I could see out the back of my window a lot better and it was very easy to install very heavy duty very professionally made thank you so much I it's awesome!!!

Simple design, strongly built.
This item is exactly as described. Make sure to identify the hole pattern that will match your wheel before mounting this on your vehicle. You can only install the tire-mount bolts while the bracket is off the vehicle. I found the bolts for mounting the tire just slightly too long. I needed to try all three bolts before I found one that was barely able to fit (minor differences in bolt-length saved me). Otherwise this bracket did the job. In my case it brought the tire far enough away from the surface of the rear door that it no longer event touches the spare tire bumpers, but the mount is very secure.

It saved me from having to faricate a bracket
I have a 2014 wrangler Rubicon unlimited with a smitybilt XRC gen 2 tire carrier and bumper combination with 35x12.50R17LT Nitto trail grappler tires and AEV Flat Black Pintler Wheel 17x8.5 so my spare would not fit on the tire carrier due to the tires being to wide with the rims offset so my only option was to buy this adapter bracket or have one fabricated. I decided to give the adapter bracket a try and it worked out just fine. I would recommend this to anyone with the same problem I had. It set my tire up and inch and out over an inch and looks great. Hope this helps you.

Use only as a temporary solution.
Good product but if you do any research you will find that using this vs. using a true frame mounted spare carrier is nearly a religious war on jeep forums. Yes this will work if you want to fit 35-37's to clear your stock bumper but it doesn't take a physicist to realize that it will come at the expense of eventual damage to your tail gate. I won't take it off road with this on there but just hitting potholes around town makes me cringe at the sound. The other item to note is that if you use a bike rack, you will need a hitch extender to clear your tire.Overall, this is a good product to use until you figure our your long term plan for your spare.

Solidly Built
I moved up to 35” tires on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK. Obviously, I had to do something about the spare tire on the back since it was not going to fit as-is. This relocation bracket is perfect. It’s heavy-duty and not hard to install. Between this bracket and the Daystar bumpstops, the spare sits secure with 0 rattle.Very happy with this!

Seems heavy duty and working with my 33's
Installed this on a stock spar tire rack on a 1985 Jeep CJ7. The American Racing 15" and BF Goodrich 33" tires were not clearing the hardtop hatch. I added this and all is working as expected. Seems well made. I'd probably hit it with some more paint before the install for good measure. I'll paint mine when I take the tire off for something else.

Spare tire wobbles with every bump on the road
It's built like a tank but when attached to the stock tire carrier, the spare tire moves a lot, it bounces with every bump on the road. I would recommend a proper tire carrier when changing to 35's or larger

Great long term temporary solution
I originally bought this to mount on my TJ smittybilt 5x4.5 bumper carrier as I was running 5x5 JK wheels. Worked great for 2-3 years and I went to 8 lugs, but held onto this bracket. A year ago I dug it out of storage to put it on my JK. It lifted the mounting point high enough, and moved it out far enough, that I can now mount a 37x12.50 tire. I did put synergy extended spare bumps on the tailgate to reduce rattle. With a 100lb spare this is temporary but gets the job done. I’ve had it on 2 Jeeps over 7 years. Last year I was backing up on a trail and the spare pushed against a tree. It bent the bracket about 20 degrees but saved my tailgate from damage. Ordering another one now until I upgrade my entire gate carrier to something more heavy duty. Got it as a temporary fix and ended up using it 7 years. Well worth $57.
