The image is really sharp. The focus is fast and the lens brightness is excellent. However, the lens barrel is not very good.

My favorite lens by far. Hands down. Sharp and fast. It's a big and heavy lens but if you are okay with that going in it will soon be your go to lens. It's a workhorse!

デカくて重いです…が、それでも1kgを切っていることと 重心がフロントよりはマウント側なので、男性の握力であれば片手で振り回せるレベルです。 (同じ方向性のレンズとしてTAMRONの35-150mmがありますが、あっちはフロントヘビーなのでマジで重さが手に堪えます…) なにより28-105mmという焦点距離のおかげで これ一本あればほとんどの用途をカバーできてしまいます。 しかもズーム全域で1:3.1とめちゃめちゃ寄れます！ 105mmで寄った画はほぼハーフマクロなみです。 写りの素晴らしさ、AFの速度などは言うまでもありません。 サイズと重さが許容できるのであれば最強の1本になることは保証します！

The Sigma 28-105mm f/2.8 has quickly become one of my favorite lenses in my kit. It’s rare to find a zoom lens that delivers this kind of versatility and fast aperture performance across the entire focal range. Whether I’m shooting portraits, street photography, video, or travel content, this lens handles it all without missing a beat. At f/2.8, the low-light capabilities are impressive—sharp wide open, with beautifully soft bokeh that rivals some primes. Autofocus is reliable and reasonably fast, and the build quality feels solid with a nice balance on both APS-C and full-frame bodies. The 28–105mm range covers nearly everything you’d need for daily shooting, and it’s been a workhorse for both stills and video. This lens punches way above its price point. If you want one lens that can do nearly everything without constantly switching glass, the Sigma 28-105 f/2.8 is an underrated powerhouse. Highly recommended!
