Bought to replace failed Grundfos 3/4 HP submersible pump. Price was 25% of new Grundfos. Arrived quickly and packing was impressive. Motor and pump are separated and secured in cardboard tubing. Included 10 feet of motor lead wire. Small amount of labor needed to attach pump to motor, but not anything that would be a problem. Pump and motor feel substantial and well made. Exterior all stainless steel. Good instructions included. Even included all needed splicing connections with water-proof heat shrink. So far really impressed. Installed without problem and started right up. Hopefully durability will be good. Time will tell.

Edit: I bought a second pump to replace the one i had purchased and a year on the dot it quit working. Had to come back and update my review. Had it for around a year and it has to be replaced already. We bought a house with a shared well, we had a storm and our pump went out. I couldn't find my pump anywhere and if I could get it, it would take over a month to ship and over 1,000 dollars. I bought this pump as a last resort hoping to just have water while the parts came in. It has worked fantastically!!! We no longer have to order the other pump. You may need to purchase some adaptors or couplings though, we had to.

4 Years and still going (knock on wood). Had to take it out once but the problem was a broken wire half way down the well.

So far so good, we did blow a wire and had to pull the pump back up and rewire it again... hopefully that wasn't because of the pump though.

This pump was replacing our very old 1/2 hp, and it works wonderfully! Apparently our well pipe is graduated and had a smaller diameter one, so the typical 4" pumps did not fit. This went straight in without a problem. It is literally 2 wires like it says in the description; there is no ground. The only trip up was the paperwork said it had a 1 1/2" top, but was actually a 1", so we did need an adapter. But we did receive it a day early so 5 stars for shipping! This was a great product choice for us and are very happy with it!

I dropped one of these pumps in an old 50ft property well for garden use and ran the well dry multiple times (twice it ran overnight!) the pump is still going strong 3 years later. When our main well pump went out (430ft) I installed the same and it is still going strong at 2 years. Needless to say I dropped the same exact pump at our new house at 460ft and all is well, no pun intended. Couldnt be happier!

I have a 4 inch casing that has some buildup on it so I needed an undersized pump to fit in the well. I called Hallmark and this is the one they recommended. I also researched some other brands and could not even get a sales rep to reply to my emails. The guy at Hallmark was great and answered all of my questions. I have had the pump installed for about 6 weeks now and so far no issues. We have tons of water and have set the pressure to 60/40. I wish I had gotten rid of my above ground pump years ago. By the way, the price is incredible compared to the other alternatives.

I can't believe I actually purchased a well pump from Amazon. It was less expensive than I could purchase anywhere and arrived quickly. We installed it over a year ago and it has not let me down. And I don't hear it when it runs! Our last pump I could hear the vibration in the house every time it ran, but not this one. Silence is golden for me. I am completely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

So far so good...4 years no problems

We replaced the old jet pump in our 4" well with this submersible and suddenly we had better pressure and a huge increase in volume. About 4 weeks ago the well casing failed and the pump sucked up a lot of sand and mud, and ran dry for an hour. When I had a new well installed and put the pump down into the water, it started pumping furiously as if it was brand new and had never eaten a sand breakfast. Still 60 psi and loads of water. I just ordered a second one.
