48 oz Container Jar for Vitamix Blenders Pitcher 56085 (fits Most Full-Size Vitamix Blenders)

I purchased this to use on a 20+ year-old vita mix - the kind with only two flip switches. It fits perfectly and works better than the old original container. It creates a powerful vortex for anything that I put into it. And it's wonderful that it now fits under my upper cabinets too! The handle looks flat in the photos, but it's not and is much nicer to hold than it looked like it would.

Exactly what it should be

I guess you get what you pay for. I was hoping this 48 oz container would be a good replacement for my original 48oz canister that was wearing down after 10 years. Unfortunately it makes a strange rattling sound and it does not blend frozen fruit well. There are always chunks of frozen fruit in my smoothie that seem to get stuck under the blade? I have never had that issue with the original Vitamix container. I went back to my 10+ year old canister it works far better than this. Not sure if I just got a defective one or what.

Arrived on time, in perfect condition, at a great price. After a minor adjustment on the base unit, it fit and operated perfectly.
