Great fancy little tank
Awesome little tank at a great price! I got this tank for an assassin snail to help with my bladder snail invasion I have had in another tank and it’s perfect and looks so nice set up. The light is very bright, love the black backing, filter seems great and the skimmer worked great and there was even a cleaning brush included. I am not using the skimmer as it sucked some snails in but that’s no fault of the product. I put bioactive sand as the substrate that’s not supposed to be rinsed and the filter and skimmer had the water clear very quickly. Would not use for fish as it is too small but aside from that it is a perfect tank for these snails. Also very well packaged from the manufacturer.

Awesome
This is by far the coolest fish tank I’ve owned my 4th one . Great for a med-small room with minimal look . The led light is high quality if you buy neon fish they will glow without extra lighting or adjustments.

Great little aquarium — but be aware that the filter eats cherry shrimp!
Very cute and relatively easy to assemble, however, this filter will suck in and chew up cherry shrimp, even on its lowest setting. Learn from my mistake and get a sponge filter and little air pump if you plan on keeping shrimp!

Too small for betta.
This should not be marketed as a betta tank. It’s too small for a happy betta. I bought these to get betta fish for my kids. And quickly learned that they are not big enough. A single betta needs 5 gallons and 2 bare minimum. The product video on this shows a betta and several small fish which will not work it will stress the fish and require endless water changes One filter burned out quickly because it turned on without water and I was going to return them but ended up keeping them for aquatic plants and perhaps shrimp The light is very bright but is nice that it is full spectrum so I can use them on my upgraded tanks. The filter works fine aside from the one breaking. It’s not a carbon filter which I think is better for my tank’s good bacteria. However I should have taken off the skimmer. I put the filter in a tank with African dwarf frogs not thinking about the skimmer and the poor frog got sucked in. He miraculously survived but only because I heard the pump suddenly stop. If I hadn’t had the skimmer and had a prefilled sponge on the intake it would have been fine. The filter is nice and quiet. But as many have said it’s not great quality and you have to be careful not to turn it on when something is blocking it or it isn’t full of water.

Perfect for 1 of something
Perfect for one beta but social media expert said "not really" when I posted mine. So I returned it and bought an even bigger one with a divider and got 2 betas!

Save your money. Its a waste
Esthetically this is a beautiful tank. But functionality wise its garbage. The filters are crappy. The pump is cheap and the first one i had broke after 3 weeks. You can not just replace the filter and the strong- unadjustable light creates way too much algae overgrowth, you have to buy an entire filter pump new. No matter how much you clean it, etc its not enough. We even got ghost shrimp and they still cant keep up. After 6 months of trying to make it work, I gave up and went with a different brand. The stress the fish go through is not worth it. You cant ever get the pH right. Also, it chipped super easily, thankfully on a corner and it didnt break the seal. But still it didnt even hit against anything. Also worth noting no i didnt have the light on all the time, maybe only a few hrs in the evening and no water heater(not needed in my home)

Update to previous review
I received the replacement filter within a couple of days and it exceeds anything I expected. It is quiet and my fish are so much happier and active. I really appreciate the customer service provided and will definitely buy from this seller again. I want to update my previous review shown below. I was immediately contacted by the Seller responding to my review. I was very surprised by the amount of concern they showed, very sincere that a customer needed to be taken care of. After texting with them, it was decided and agreed that they will send me another filter to replace the damaged one. They offered a full refund which I did not feel was warranted since there was information in the description suggesting that we should make sure there was water in the filter to prevent damage. My power went out to circumstances beyond anyone’s control. Very cute tank. I should have listened to people about the water filter system. We had a power outage during the nighttime hours when I was asleep. When the power came back on the filter didn’t prime itself so it burnt out. Very disappointed. This is not a system to use unless you constantly keep an eye on it.
