I was on the fence about this cat box. Its just so expensive. But I'm very happy with my purchase. Mine came with some adhesive pieces to put around the inside to seal the seam where I guess urin could get into unwanted places. It was a little intimidating, not wanting to make a mistake. I took the extra time to ensure I applied them properly. But I managed to do it and it looks clean and tightly sealed. Other than that, assembly was very simple. Setting up and navigating the app is also very simple. Took me about 15 to 20 minutes and the most of that time was laying out the adhesive strips and adjusting them to make sure they were on straight and proper. Our kitty is 4 months old, we have had her for 2 and she took to the new cat box right away. We cleaned out the old cat box and left it in the room until I saw she was using the new one on a regular basis. Then I removed the old box. I love that there is an option in the app to send you notifications that she was in the box. I don't use that now, but it made the first 3 days worry free about if she was using it or not. I love that the app tells you if there is enough litter in the box. It tells you if the bin is full too, but we empty the bin daily so that isn't something we use. I love knowing that we invested in a reputable company that takes safety seriously. The box moves very slow during the clean and senses if our kitty got in and it stops moving until it's detected that she is out of the box. With the new box, cleaning is easier. No scooping. It doesn't smell, but we do clean daily. Somehow, I don't need to add kitty litter as frequently. It's quiet. I don't use the weight right now, it's not useful information at this time, but if she ever got sick it woukd be so useful to know. I really wanted the gray one, but the price is why I went with the m1 light version. I was worried about the light version lacking the oder seal technology and to be honest, it's not missed at all. I waited until I got a gift card and the box went on sale and it was worth the price I paid. Im very happy with this cat box so far.

This still works since I got it ages ago and that's more than I can say for the last one I got. No malfunctions or issues at all. It's open which is good for the cat, I have 3, it doesn't smell because it cleans quick and locks away the dirty litter, and there's no threat of it hurting your cat because it doesn't close while dumping litter and then revolves back.

This works very well for day to day and very pleased. Was stuck upside down on day 5 with only one 12 lb cat. Once the poop drops it does not push forward to utilize the dumping space. I do use thick heavy clay litter and do have to shake the waste forward to get a few more days. Never ran out of litter in the pan. Holds a ton. Did take my cat a few days and treats to want ti try it but now he chooses this one over the box.

**UPDATE** Support finally got back with me, but despite all the issues I’ve outlined in this review, the ONLY thing they were willing to take responsibility for was the liner. They are sending an updated mat, that in theory is supposed to fit better. However, regarding the noise of the machine and the very inaccurate weights - they didn’t give me any help. They kept repeating “New mat solve issue for you”. Not sure how a tighter fitting liner to stop urine leaks would affect the noise OR the inaccurate weights. I don’t have it in me to keep fighting them to fix their poorly made product. Please stay away from this company! There have also been new CONFIRMED reports of it HURTING CATS! Despite them releasing numerous firmware updates to “solve the issue”. Please stick with Litter-Robot or PETKIT. These brands have been making these products for over 10 years (Over 20 years for Litter-Robot). DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! Let me preface by saying that I have 5 cats and have tried numerous self cleaning litter boxes since 2019. I purchased the Neakasa M1 Lite to work along side my Litter-Robot 4. My largest cat is 20lbs, and earlier this year he had to wear a cone for a few days and I saw how cramped he was in the LR4. There’s not a whole lot of open self cleaning litter boxes on the market, which is unfortunate since so many cats prefer open boxes over enclosed boxes. Setup was pretty straightforward. No issues with app connectivity or setting up cat profiles. The app is incredibly bare bones and lacks many features that are present in other similar products. The biggest issue I have with the app (and the box) is the weight tracking feature. It’s typically 1-1.5lbs off my cats actual weight (as confirmed by my vet and the LR4, which has very accurate scales). Also, while it does allow you to correct an incorrectly assigned usage, doing so doesn’t update their weight in their respective profiles. There doesn’t appear to be any weighing algorithms in place, so if your cats change weights - you will have to update the profiles manually. Last two issues are the machine has gotten significantly louder over time. It makes me skeptical on the longevity of the product. At the time of writing this review, we’ve had the M1 for about 8 months. Finally - like many other self cleaning litter boxes, this has a “clip-in” style litter mat. This isn’t an ideal design because 9/10 times the mat doesn’t form a watertight seal with the drum allowing urine to collect underneath, and unfortunately the Neakasa has this problem. This isn’t really a regularly cleaned area aside from deep cleans, as it involves emptying the drum and removing the clip-in mat to be able to clean underneath. This makes the box smell quite bad. I’ve attempted to reach out to Neakasa and have received no response - despite being well within the warranty period. All these issues combined with the lack of customer support makes the M1 a pass in my book. Hoping Neakasa will improve the design for future iterations of the M1.

As an existing owner of a Litter Robot 4, the M1 is impressive! If you've done your research on this model, it does have a bumpy history but the manufacturer has been responsive and made improvements to resolve every issue, all of which are included with the M1 Lite (and M1 Plus). Of my 5 cats, some immediately preferred using the M1 over the Litter Robot. It's built well and is a very inviting form-factor for cats. If you use Home Assistant, there's also an integration that works with this! If you're a multi-cat household, I definitely recommend adding one of these into your rotation to give your cats another option to choose.

Muito boa. Os gatos adoraram. Preferem-na a fechada que tenho. Eu tenho 4 gatos e todos agora preferem esta a qualquer outra. Tenho de mudar de saco a cada 3 dias. Mas a app funciona muito bem e sempre me avisa. Pesar os gatos é que tem uma variação de cerca de de 200g o meu gato de 5.200 ele sempre diz que tem 4.900 ou 5kg. Mas tirando isso a app dunciona muito bem e a caixa também. Só é pena que a areia espalha bastante. Agora já passadas umas semanas posso dizer que continuo satisfeita. E que os meus 4 gatos decidiram só ir lá. Por isso tenho de mudar a cada 3 dias, mas é muito facil mudar os sacos, o tapete de silicone tbm twm se mantido ok e precisa de muito pouca limpeza.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! This product has literally changed my life, and I am not exaggerating! I dont normally leave reviews, but just had to tell others, what a great difference it will make to every household with cats! I have been a cat owner for over 10 years. Always thought these machines are for lazy people, ‘I mean, how long does it take to just scoop after a cat”. But it has nothing to do with that, its soooo much more! Every guest that has come to my house has said that my house doesnt have that “smelly cat” odor anymore cause the chamber it keeps the waste keeps it odor less! No more going out after each scooping to throw the waste. I dont have to buy some expensice special made cat sand, any brand of clumping bentonite sand works perfectly. And I dont even have to buy sand as frequently as I used to!!! Another amazing thing about it is the app! Very easy to use, notifies you when the waste bag is full and needs to be changed, it notifies when to top up with more sand, it even reminds u to buy litter when ur low on stock! It weighs your cat, and informs you every time your cat uses the box, allowing you to notice very early on if the cat starts losing weight or using the litter box less or more often - sometimes alarming health issues that need to addressed. AND if you have multiple cats at home, it will even tell you which cat has used the box at what exact time. Its just sooo amazing! i cant recommend it enough to every single cat owner! Also note - some of the sellers have terrible after sale customer service. They dont offer warranty and even sometimes sell fake machines! THIS SELLER HAS BEEN GREAT!! They delivered in time without any hassle. They were very polite and professional. They helped me unpack and install the machine. They took time and throughly explained how to use it, how to clean it and how the app works. And as for warranty, they assure you that if any issues comes up, they’ll be just a phone call away!!! That is one of the most impressive response I have ever received, dealing with a private seller on Amazon. Again, I cant explain enough what great impact it has had for our daily life routines. If you have a cat - BUY THIS - you will be writing a equally long recommendation here as well 😅

天井解放型で動作もシンプルなので、使い勝手はとても良いです。購入してから約1週間ですが、トイレ掃除はしないで済んでいます。ステマでも何でもなく、愛猫家で購入を検討している方は、是非お勧めします。気になる点を挙げるとすると、数人の方が言われる通り臭いです。ダストボックスは完全密閉ではないため、糞尿が満杯（マニュアルでは2週間程度）にならなくともリセット（ゴミ捨て）しなくちゃいけないかな。我が家は1匹だけですが、10日または週に一度くらいのサイクルになりそうです。ダストボックスには消臭ビーズを適量入れてますが、それでも無臭にはなりません。設置する場所にもよりますが。総じて臭いの問題を差し引いても、購入して良かったと感じています。 追記 使用して2ヶ月ほど。前回のレビューで臭いについて言及したが、最近はほとんど感じないレベル。寒さや空気の乾燥のおかげかも知れないが、消臭ビーズの効果かも知れない。しかしとにかくこれまでのトイレに比べると、抜群にQOLが上がった。なんせ日時トイレの心配をしなくて良いのだから。ダストボックスがいっぱいになれば、アラームでお知らせ。そのまま専用の袋が紐つきなので引っ張って結ぶだけで良い。シンプルで簡単。だからウチの猫ちゃんトイレはいつも綺麗。猫ちゃんもストレスなく用を足しているようだ。またメンテナンスもさほど必要がない点も良し。砂を満杯まで入れて、2週間に一回少し砂を補充するだけ。使ってみた感じ、砂が少なくなると汚れやすくなると思うから、補充することで一定の量を保てば、量があれば糞尿がこびりつかないから全部取り替える必要もなく補充するだけで運用出来ています。猫砂のおすすめは、①ライオンの臭いがなくなる猫砂②カインズホームの埃の少ない猫砂③アイリスオーヤマのAG入り猫砂 商品名は正確ではないが、たぶんわかると思います。これらは相応に脱臭効果もあり、何よりちゃんと固まる。参考になれば幸いです。 追記2 購入して約3ヶ月。思えば既に猫トイレがあることすら忘れている。それくらい臭いもない、糞尿取りもしない。しかしトイレはいつも綺麗な状態。ダストボックスがいっぱいになったタイミングで砂を足す。適度に全体清掃する。それだけ。猫ちゃんにとっても飼い主にとってもストレスフリーです。neakasa以外の商品は知りませんので他メーカーのもの含めて、多くの飼い主さんにおすすめしたいと思っています。
