InSassy (TM) Flexible Expandable Garden Hose, 50 FT

I received my hose, and it arrived fast. I tried it, and boy was I happy...it is so light, and so easy to roll up. What more could I ask for?I hate to admit it, but I was just waiting for my to explode, but so far it hasn't, so I think it's only fair I write the review, and if it does fail, I can update later. Still, I can will only give it 4 stars until I have used it for a couple weeks and see if it is really a "5 star" how. I sure hope it is, because I could use about 5 of these around my place.As I mentioned, so far the hose works fine, but I have been very careful to start the water pressure low and bring it up slowly. I love the fact that it is so light and easy to use, and I wonder why someone else hasn't made a hose like this that does not break so easily. I use it for watering the garden and filling the ponds so the wildlife can get a drink of water, everyday chores around here, and this has made the job so much easier, especially on my back.So, I really like this hose, but will update you after I use it a bit. :)UPDATE: 4/29/14: I have been using this hose for light watering and it so far it is still working great. With all the reviews I keep expecting it to burst at any moment, but so far, so good. I will keep you updated. :)UPDATE: 5/4/14: I bought one of these for a friend, and hers burst today. I was waiting for one of these hoses to go because of all the reviews, and this many people cannot be wrong. My hose is still going strong, but I use it very carefully and not too often.I lowered the rating on the hose one star. Good luck.

As advertised, the hose was lightweight and kink proof. It would have been an awesome hose had it not broke after its fifth use. I'm not sure what happened but there was a huge bubble created and the hose bursted. Now I can't return it because it's past 30 days return policy.

The concept is super. It's really small but the pressure of the water caused the outside ruffled cover to split on the very first use. It's still usable and it still contracts okay. I may have been unlucky and got one where there was a fault.

Great product, and inexpensive. This replaced an old traditional hose and it can be stored and 'unkinked' in a fraction of time time it took for the old traditional hose.Be aware that after it fills up with water and you use it, water does not automatically and instantly empty out so that it can compress once more to its unfilled state. So you turn the water off at the source and continue to use it for a short period of time until all the water is out of the hose.Also be careful with it in harsh weather (ice/snow), as the repeated freezing of the water inside of it can damage the hose. (Luckily this is not often a problem in our generally warm weather).Update: Not very durable. I would recommend this as a hose you would use for specific reasons or on rare occasions, rather than just leaving it connected all the time.

I've only had my hose for a week and so far so good. I have it attached to a spray wand and I don't let it expand too much. Once I've utilized it for a few months I can give a better review, but so far it is exactly as advertised.

I had this hose for 3 months and overall was very happy at first. After about six weeks we noticed part of the plastic around the base (where the water comes out) had cracked and chipped. It did start to leak around this area, but we thought we had maybe dropped it on the concrete to hard, but today it literally exploded on me while washing off the patio leaving me holding the sprayer (with no hose attached) and I looked like – well you get the picture. I like the idea of the hose, but I’m going with a better build this next time around.

I was need of a hose, and I was eying one just like this down at Walmart but was reluctant to purchase because of the price. I then saw this one and was stoked. I have had it about two weeks now, roughly using it about everyday to water plants. Just yesterday I used it to wash my car. I do use a sprayer head on it, as recommended. I do try not to keep the water on and let it just "sit" in the hose and gain pressure. If you read the directions (Yes a hose comes with directions) it tells you all about it.
