What a great product. Easy to install and what a difference a taller toilet makes for us older people.

Toilet Riser
This riser works great! It was easy for our plumber to install. It looks nice and looks like it will last a long time.

Easy installation
It came with everything to install and raised the toilet to a more acceptable height. We installed this for someone that has mobility issues and need the toilet raised to be able to sit and stand easier using their walker. The installation was easy.

Works great.
Raised my toilet 3 1/2" makes it much easier to get up and down. I would pay to get the porcelain next time. I really like it, just think the porcelain one would be better.

Best Solution So Far
I am six foot tall and after having had two stokes I found that standing from any low sitting furniture to be very difficult. After leaving rehab I had a plastic seat riser that attached to the top of my toilet and it sucked! I found this on the internet and Amazon had the best price I could find so I got it.It is made of plastic and supports 500 lbs according to the documentation. The plastic shell has webbed ribs to make it stronger. The kit includes everything needed to install it. I had mine installed by a plumber due to my condition. Everything went well and quickly. Having had it now for several weeks I have these observations to make. First - my toilet is not as sturdy as it was when sitting on my concrete slab. Don't get me wrong, it is not in any way wobbly or dangerous, it is just not as sturdy as it was before. This may be due to irregularities in my floor. But I still feel that if it were made of some stronger material it would be better! Second - at six foot tall I find it just right when I am wearing shoes. When I am barefoot it is just a tad too high to be comfortable. Given how hard it is too stand up when it was lower, I would take "too high" any day of the week!! So even if I were shorter I would still choose this over the normal toilet height. Third - This is the best solution I have seen for raising a toilet. The plastic seats that attach to the top of the bowl look ugly, keep the lid from working, require more time when cleaning, and generally put off anyone else who uses it!All in all, this is money well spent, even if I did have to add the cost of a plumber to install it. :o)

Great product.
So this was a purchase for the mother in law who struggles to sit and stand back up from a seated position. This raised our 16 inch toilet to a little over 19 Inc's, then I add a 2 inch seat riser putting it at 21 inches. Now my set came with no instructions but I have set toilets before and looking at it I quickly figured out how this was supposed to work and installation was pretty easy. No major issues or leaks and once it was bolted down it felt very solid and sturdy. Some of these reviews talk about this being flimsy plastic and it being hollow, well it is plastic but it's thick and rigid, it is hollow but it is honey combed on the inside for support and strength. My mother in law is a big lady and does no sit gracefully and we have had no issues in the two months of use so far. We did buy a sqautty potty stool for the children and guest who may use it so that it is more comfortable for those shorter than average height. Really this product is great and it looks better than the nasty 5 inch seat riser she had and she loves it too.

No need to buy a new toilet, just install this.
Excellent way to raise your toilet

It works
This is so helpful. In hindsight, we could have reversed it for the oval toilet without the base protruding. I suggest trying it without the seal to assess how it looks for your situation.
