Timecode cable Works
This cable works to feed a Sony FX3/FX30 timecode into its micro usb input. Well made 90 degree 1/8” connection and cable. Worked from tentacle and deity timecode sync boxes and probably other brands as well. Alvin’s Cables always delivers the goods,

If You Need It, Buy It
Works perfectly when compared to other brands (my other cable for this is a Tentacle brand I had to import). Very happy at the quality and the price. Worked on both my Sony FX30 and my rental FX3 with zero issues

It works on my Fx30 with a Deity TC-1
This 3.5mm to 15pin USB micro is the real deal. It works very well. I was skeptical thinking this inexpensive cable couldn't possibly do what the expensive adaptors do? But it does.

A cheap solution to connecting timecode
A great product that elegantly solves a problem, at a fraction of the price as well. At first, when I plugged it into my fx30, the screen went blank, but it is working fine.

Works better than the Sony VMC-BNCM1, without the bulk.
I have an FX3 and A7Siii that I needed to jam sync timecode to, so I picked up a Sony VMC-BNCM1 adapter to use with a Tentacle Sync unit. NOT CHEAP!! It's on B&H now for $50, but was over $100, and only on Encompass when I purchased. It worked once or twice, then stopped. I went through all the different configurations and settings I could think of, and couldn't get the Tentacle and BNC adapter to jam sync my cameras. Then I found this Alvin's cable, and it works a treat! I don't know what magic Alvin puts in his cables, but this is only one of several unique problem solving cables I've purchased from them. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with the Rode Wireless Pro receiver. It connects and outputs audio timecode, just like the Tentacle, but the camera doesn't read it like with the Tentacle. Keep up the great work Alvin's Cables!
