ramen shop building brick kit
This is a cool-looking mini brick building brick set. The front of the manual lists this as a 3 out of 5 difficulty, which I think is pretty accurate. The building bricks are in numbered clear plastic bags, and the bags correspond to steps in the instructions. The instruction manual is high-quality and full-color. It clocks in at 62 pages long, and the pages are of a very generous size-- plenty easy to see! The kit does use stickers, and each step where a sticker comes into play is clearly marked. The manual is in a format that will be familiar to kit builders (and it's easy to follow if you're new to kits): the parts you're currently working on are in color, and the parts you've completed are in grayscale. The instructions clearly tell you how many of each piece you need for each step (e.g., 3 4x8 pieces and 2 6x12 pieces for step one). There are lots of details, interior and exterior. The outside of the building has its signs and decorations, there's a cobblestone pavement, lanterns, and so on (and a cat-- yay!). The inside is also detailed, with a cooking area and dining counter. There's a lot to see. These are micro bricks, so they are not compatible with the major brand. The plus of micro bricks is that they allow you to add a lot of realistic detail, and I feel like this kit takes advantage of that. Because the bricks are small, the recommended age of 8+ might be a little low-- 12 and up might be more accurate. This is definitely a kit that both teens and adults can enjoy. This is a very cool addition to my brick village-- I had a lot of fun building it, and I recommend it!

Mini bricks, not for kids!
First things first, this is a MINI brick set (as it says in the item description), not full sized, and I wouldn't recommend this for kids under 10 as it 's size and complexity might be too much. That said, I'm poor and so I can't get as many of the official Lego sets as I'd like to. So I'm "stuck" with getting knock-offs and not really knowing if they're of good/decent quality or garbage. I'm very pleased to say that this set is actually of pretty good quality and complexity. Just FYI I'm "grading" this set by a couple of standards: do the blocks stay in place (i.e. they don't just fall off), can they be removed or twisted easily into place (shouldn't have to take an hour or a bodybuilder to remove the brick), does the set make creative use of brick-building elements and techniques, and how many times during the build do I say "this is definitely NOT Lego!"For this set it had a few (about 3) pieces that needed some help staying in place, but a bit of sticky-putty, and problem solved. So okay, but not great. I also only had a couple problem bricks in regards to moving/removing them, but this is common with mini-bricks and the provided tool helped there. Again, okay but not great. The build itself was fun and it was quite simple to put together with the easy to follow full-color instructions. It's a typical build, nothing really exciting there, but it does have some really nice details. I did comment 2-3 times that it wasn't Lego quality, but that's to be expected with most mini-brick sets.TLDR: It's a mini-brick set and not for young kids due to this and it's complexity, but otherwise a pretty good set.

Just like the name brand, but smaller
My last venture into offbrand bricks was a few years ago and they were horrid. I took a chance on these because I liked the design.I'm so glad I did! The directions were very clear, no missing pieces, interesting designs. They are smaller than the well known bricks but are still a good size for my mid 40's eyes.

Ramen shop mini-block set
The bricks fit together well, and the instructions are easy to follow (although it might take a moment to figure out how they work if it has been a while since you have followed brick-building instructions, and some of the colors are hard to distinguish when not on the same diagram). The construction is divided into steps, which make it easier if you can’t spend all day putting it together (although I would allow a few hours for each section). The bricks are small (mini bricks), and some of the pieces are tiny, so a small tray or box to put them in to help you find the bricks for each step is helpful. The overall quality of the set is good, and definitely better than some other non-LEGO bricks I have used.

Super fun and cute!
I got this for my 11 year old daughter and she loved it. We didn't test compatibility with other name-brand building blocks, but the set was fun and pretty easy to do. The plastic is a good quality, and the instructions were clear enough for her.

RAVAYO Japanese Ramen Shop Building Blocks Set, Fun Mini Brick Architecture Construction Set
RAVAYO Japanese Ramen Shop Building Blocks Set, Fun Mini Brick Architecture Construction Set. This mini brick architecture construction kit is a fun activity for a weekend. This set is a Japanese ramen noodle shop model with many pieces with intricate detailing. There is an essential instruction manual that details the building of the shop, step by step. The 1400+ pieces are placed in numbered plastic bags that correspond with the instructions. Paying attention to those instructions is vital. This is a fun project for teens and adults to work on but it probably isn't the best choice for younger kids. Too small and too detailed for them. We are looking forward to putting this model together over the coming Thanksgiving holiday weekend. I hope that will be enough time for us to do a good job with it. We are looking forward to a fun project.
