Very sturdy. It held a 48 pound bag with no problems. The rack at the bottom came in handy for shoes.

arrived on time. sent in it's packaging box but arrived OK. No assembly required. I bought two and they served their purpose well. Why only 4 stars? it would have better if the surface the suitcases rest on would be totally flat; the end pieces stick up so smaller suitcases kinda not fit and and larger cases rest only on the protruding ends. Not a deal killer. recommend? yes
