This does actually work. Used daily it does help prevent cold sores from appearing. However if used as soon as you feel a cold sore appearing it does help to reduce the attack from becoming bigger (if you have cold sores you will understand!) Prefer the previous packaging and sure this is slightly different from previous but it still works and as a cold sore sufferer I would not be without it. Used on a regular basis it really does help. Not as drying as other treatments either. Would recommend

Good product but small tubes so do not last long

I have used it since it came out. The old formula tube lasted a good couple of months. The new formula is terrible it’s like a runny oil and smells horrible. The small tube lasted me 2 weeks Why they had to change it when it was brilliant as it was. If they are trying to to make more money out of it they are going to loose because people will stop buying it

Please NEVER discontinue this! It's the only thing that works for my cold sores, it's so good!

It now stinks horribly. Why change something that worked really well!!! I won't be buying it anymore.

I’ve used Lipivir for a few years and it does a great job at stopping cold sore outbreaks before they develop. However, they must have changed the recipe recently because my newest tube smells horrible! It never used to have any smell at all. Still worth using but… bleurgh.

This works really well but they have changed the smell or added something to it recently and changed packaging , it does not smell very pleasant ! I still buy it though
