This book was a real eye opener for me, it offered valuable insights and practical tools that I applied during my studies. It helped me identify and target my weak areas, which turned out to be more than I initially thought. As a result of that I deepened my knowledge of the normal topics and the new ones. I highly recommend this book especially considering the challenging problems it has. Per my own experience, the problems, or most of them are made intentionally challenging, but given the geotech is one of the most difficult topics and impossible exams, doing these porblems methodically will def help you prepare. Also, this book covers really all if not every code or topic or manual lists in the requirements!

I have been years out of school and I wanted to refresh everything… I took a photo of a sheet pile stress profile from this book and posted it here because I think this was a great explanation! Although I know this information but it is great to find it detailed in a step by step in this guide. Many other concepts are explained in details also.

Before taking the exam I used EET along with several practice exams, but this book was easily the most helpful part of my studies. Several in-depth practice questions with great explanations on how to solve them.

I prepared well for the exam and it made me ready and more confident than before. This was the most dificult exam I ever sat for in my life, and I am a re-taker, finally made me pass this time!
