Bought for peeling vegetables,it is just the right size and very sharp.The handle is nice to grip.

Brilliantly sharp - absolutely the sharpest knife I have, so it's great for peeling potatoes and paring apples. The only slight downside for me is the grip, which isn't naturally comfortable to hold. I can't quite work out what's wrong with it, but the shape isn't quite right. Apart from that, I'm very happy.

Positives:This Zyliss knife took me by surprise with how well it cuts. I used it to peel the skin off a swede, which has tough, thick skin, and I absolutely dread preparing swedes because of how difficult I find it! However, I was taken aback when I tried this knife on one, and it cut through the swede like butter. I’m genuinely impressed with its performance. Also, this knife is super comfortable to hold and easy to grip at all times. The blade comes sufficiently sharp and is ready to use straight away without needing an extra sharpening.Additionally, it looks attractive. I like the grey stone look. It’s modern, simple, and neutral enough to fit in with most kitchens décor.Negatives:The knife overall does feel like it’s manufactured on the cheaper side. It’s not full-tang and not a heavy-duty knife – it’s very lightweight.This knife has an “eco handle” that is made of 20% wheat straw, which is an interesting idea to promote sustainability; however, the knife is enclosed in plastic film (which I found very difficult to remove). Therefore, the plastic has just been added back on.In summary, the good outweighs any negatives for me. It’s a useful bit of kit to have for fruit and vegetables with stubborn skins. Also, it's a very decent value if you’re a cooking beginner or just need a basic knife to do the job, and you’re not too worried about longevity. I highly recommend this knife if you struggle with using your hands and upper body strength for fiddly tasks - using this knife made peeling a breeze.

I use it all the time when preparing my vegetables. It is sharp and a very handy knife.
