My beautiful wife thought she have to get that to upgrade her beautiful lips. Not knowing she kissed me. My lips and my tongue started to burn for an hour like I rubbed them in pepperonis. I told her right away to send s** back. I don’t like it when she puts chemicals on her face. And acid chemicals like that to put in your face that’s probably illegal in European countries..

This product is misleading. All it does is set your lips on fire with the capsicum in it. Does not plump. You’re better off “and cheaper” to rub a raw pepper over your lips. 0 stars if it was an option.

This product does not even begin to do what it claims. No difference and it stings quite a bit. So angry it was so expensive. Do not buy!

The main ingredient in Smooche Extreme Lip Plumper is chili pepper, and applying it made my lips feel like they were on fire. I even got a taste of hot pepper that left me questioning how anyone could "smooche" wearing this gloss. Due to the intense tingling and burning sensation, I was expecting noticeably fuller lips but the plumping was too subtle. my lips did look slightly healthier and more pink. The effects faded within minutes of wiping off the gloss, and I imagine frequent reapplication would be needed after drinking or eating. My lips felt hydrated afterward, but as a plumping product this is a hard pass for me.

It does not work at all.

Works just like you think it's going to....be careful not to lick your lips because it does tingle. Lasts for quite a while...does feel a little sticky.

I ordered the Smooche - Extreme Lip Plumper, because as I've aged I've lost volume in my lips. Who wouldn't want some of it back without having fillers? I applied the lip plumper and took a photo immediately after (when my lips are lighter pink). I then sat for ten minutes with the plumper on and took another photo (when my lips are a darker pink). My lips did plump up a teeny tiny bit, but not enough that it was worth sitting with the stinging hot plumper on. I had less pain and more plump the last time I had a reaction to a food. It doesn't keep your lips shiny because the more you add, the more it burns. You have to switch to a different gloss to keep your lips moisturized. I also didn't like how dark it made my lips (it got much darker, think bruise like) and how eventually that red started to move outside of my lips like my lipstick was bleeding. I can't recommend this product and I so wanted it to work.

For as hot/tingly as this felt immediately after applying, I expected my lips to become enflammed & therfore "plump" right away. Unfortunately, the only thing that happened quickly was me starting to gag bc I got some of the product on my tongue & it tasted gross & felt even worse. I rinsed my mouth out over & over but I proceeded to tough it out because, you know....vanity.... I figured it HAD to do something to my lips. Nope. I'm not kidding. It had zero effect. No plumping whatsoever. Once the tingling stopped, my lips felt very soft & smooth but that's it. I like how smooth they felt but I can't bear the thought of ever tasting/gagging on this stuff ever again.
