A manual with meaningful explenations would have been nice. Also a support website with the latest firmware. Luckily I knew that this is actually a hasivo and although they also don’t have a support website someone left a link at servethehome forum with links where to find the upgrade firmware. In short a top product considering the price but only for poeple with some network expertise

I bought two for my home network to replace gigabit switches. They have been working great so far and have a small footprint. Management UI is pretty simple to navigate and make changes with. Does not have a problem with running hot. It would have been nice if they had come with rubber feet on bottom so they didn't lay completely flat, but I added my own. Not a brand that I have ever heard of so I was a bit skeptical, but so far has not disappointed.

The switch was very reasonable compared to TP Link and Netgear alternatives. It has a metal housing, 2.5 GB across all 8 ports, and offers both managed and unmanaged operation via a front panel switch. the only thing this switch did not include was rubber feet which was remedied via a trip to home depot. No issues to report after a month.

After reading some of the reviews here I want to remind you that you need to click on Tools/save and then save. Otherwise the configuration is lost after reboot :) I have 4 of these switches and they are just great value! Edit: Sadly now after owning these for a while, they are starting to break. 3 of them have broken after restart/disconnect. Amazons support has been great though, and refunded me.
