Style Name:Champagne Product Description This wine is luminous golden yellow in colour. Fine and persistent bubbles. A nose revealing the appeal and complexity of this wine with notes of apples and pears as well as yellow fruits such as apricots followed by aromas of dried fruit and patisserie notes. The pinot noirs gives weight and structure. It works well with chicken or guinea fowl in a wild mushroom sauce or hard cheeses such as beaufort or comte. The finish is straight and long. The house of G.H. Mumm was founded in 1827, so it has been guided by a high regard for the champagne's traditions and culture. The house has retained Georges Hermann Mumm's uncompromising maxim: "only the best". G.H. Mumm vintage brut 2006 is a good wine blended from a dozen grands and premiers crus. The product of a good year marked by mild, dry weather, this vintage cuvee, the house's 55th, expresses the power of the pinots noirs grape and the chardonnay's elegance. Contains sulphur dioxide/sulphites. Manufacturer Contact Information G.H.Mumm & Co, 29 rue de champ de Mars, 51100 Reims, France.
