Fits 2014 Ford Escape, tricky to replace
Works just as great as the factory one, at a lower cost. The only trouble is that it's just as cumbersome to work with as the factory one. This has been by far the hardest Cabin Air filter replacement I have done. It's located under the passenger side footwell. First you'll need to unclip the two plastic clips holding the upper cover under the glove box (you'll know when you're there). Next you'll need a Torx T20 bit to undo 1 screw that holds the cover in place. That's the easy part.Once you take off the plastic cover the fun begins. For some reason Ford decided to put your fuse box and misc wires directly in front of the filter; not allowing the filter to be pulled straight out. Instead you'll have to pull, twist and squeeze the filter out. It might bend and crease but you don't care, you're just getting rid of it any way. However, once you try to get the new filter in is when you realize how terrible of a design it really is. There's no easy way in. Since you want to keep your filter as neat and damage-free as possible, you'll try a few times from different angles only to realize it ain't gonna happen. You'll even contemplate the idea that the dealer's charge of $90 didn't seem so bad after all. But fear not, just take a deep breath and try again. Only this time feel free to squeeze the sides together (to look like an hourglass) and that should shrink it enough to get through most of the clutter. Don't worry, this won't mess up the filter, it'll spring back into shape just fine. You'll bend and twist a little but, no where near enough to damage it. Once you get passed the wire and fusebox clutter it should accordion back into the holder just fine.Even thought it only took me around 15 minutes to do myself, I don't look forward to the next replacement. I'm sure by then I'll have forgotten the bad and only remember the good and place another order. But I'll let my future self worry about that.

Quality factory fit aftermarket alternative.
Same size and fitment as the factory Motorcraft OEM filter. Pleats seem strong and fibers remained intact even after the filter was crushed, ripped out, and crushed again. Vehicle is a 2015 Ford Focus and the install is somewhat difficult on this model compared to every other cabin air filter I have had to install. You basically have to shove it in the air box from the passenger side foot well. Initially I shoved the filter in to far and had to remove it to reinstall it. While the filter did get a little dirty it did not rip and was still intact even after going rough such a rough ordeal. When installing please check to make sure it lines up with the corners of the duct so that unfiltered air does not bypass the filer. All in all I like the filter for the money and will probably buy one again when the time comes.

I don't really know much about this item but the hubby says it works well and he likes it.

Filter good, but came in crushed box
This filter was a great price and I could wait for delivery. Where I live it takes about a week instead of overnight or two days (like it did before Covid).I took off one star because it arrived in an oversized box that was super light, but smashed. It just so happens the damaged outer box aligned and damaged filter box inside. I was able to straighten out the filter enough to work.It was challenging to put in (car design challenge, not filter fault). That said, I was able to straighten out upper stiff support on filter to get it in place (which was my concern). It went in OK and replaced a factory installed filter that came with the car.My wife doesn't complain about the smell anymore. 🙂I would buy this again without hesitation.

Easy install
I have a 2018 ford escape sel 1.5L 4 cylinder. I watch the videos on how to install and I thought Oh Boy this is going to be difficult. It was easier than I thought. The only thing that was tuff was getting the torx t20 screw out and that was because the angle, not much room to work the screwdriver straight on the screw. the new air filter you squeeze it in the center put the top part of the in first then the bottom and work it and it fits in there. Make sure the air flow arrow is pointing towards the back of the car. Great product, Great price I highly recommend it

installed on 2017 Ford Escape SE
I am a petite 71 yr old lady and had this filter installed, hands washed, and T20 wrench put away in less than 15 minutes. Many install videos show squishing the middle but that wouldn’t work with this since the top and bottom edges were fairly rigid. To get it in easier, I pushed down on the leading top and bottom edges and indented the leading middle edge just a little and it pushed right in. The size matched the OEM filter I took out. To help with the lighting under the dash, I used my handy headlamp so I could actually see what I was doing.

Use in 2015 escape
This is very inexpensive and it keeps the smell out of the car tremendously. This was used in a 2015 Ford escape titanium which I give it to Ford is the easiest cabin filter ever to replace. This filter last at least a year and a half long depending on the circumstances of course and does a great job filtering and does not reduce the overall airflow so we noticed
