Really great, scent free.
This is my first use of this detergent and I'll review it further later but for those with smell issues, this is genuinely scent free. I couldn't believe my nose when I opened it! Nothing! I've put it though a synthetic wash at 40 degrees and used what it recommended, about 20ml as it was a larger load. The laundry came out smelling of... nothing. A slight chlorine smell because our water heavily smells of it but really, smelled of nothing. Not even that soapy, chemical smell you sometimes get from a detergent that has less scent. At 20ml per wash, it'll be great value for money. Massively happy with the product, I'm going to try their fabric conditioner next. Would totally recommend if you have any smell issues to give it a try.

Disappointing
After reading the product info I had high hopes for this washing detergent but I was very disappointed. The manufacturer claims “We have a fragrance free option for those with sensitive skin or allergies” but this detergent made my skin feel like it was on fire and I have had to stop using it after just one load of washing. Of course everyone is different and it might work for others but this is another “sensitive” washing detergent that I won’t be using again.

Great product with no added smells!
This is a repeat order. I like this product it may be expensive but it has lasted 3 months you only need two squeeze per wash (for me anyway). We dont have very dirty clothes etc but they come out feeling fresh and clean and no strange or perfume smells. Use for all clothes and bedding washes.

For sensitive skin
This is a 1ltr bottle of unscented laundry detergent. I always use sensitive detergent on my children so this is ideal. The bottle is slimline but can do 40 washes so will last a while. I tried this on a couple of loads, they came out very fresh, well washed, no scent but clean smelling. you only need to use a small amount, my washing machine automatically doses so may use more than suggested but came out fine with no soapy feeling. A lovely detergent which washes well, currently priced at £9 a bottle it is more than I'd usually pay so I'm hoping to see this on offer as I really enjoy it, recommended.

Excellent for a non bio option
Excellent cleaning power, minimal but acceptable background fragrance, don’t be fooled by the lack of foam, it’ll be doing its job.

Impressive
Over the years I’ve spent 100s on specialist laundry detergents looking for something affordable long term, genuinely scent & colour free with an ingredient base that’s compatible with my sensitive skin & my property’s soak away septic tank. It’s been a battle, but finally here came my final stop. The 1 litre bottle is the right size. Depending entirely on your water hardness & the size of your machine as well as how much you like to overload it (we all do it, admit it) this will require anywhere from 20-40mls of liquid per wash. I would have liked the bottle to come with a dosing cup as it requires your own measurement method. The liquid is quite thin, not the usual gloopy liquid of most supermarket brands & on first use pouring it out of the spout over the dosing compartment of my machine, it squirted straight over the top & straight into the conditioner compartment. Bit annoying but I won’t do that again. The detergent doesn’t foam overly so don’t be too alarmed if it looks like it’s not in there & refrain from topping up until it looks the part, it’s not necessary. Although it looks slightly green in the bottle, the liquid is clear & adds no colour to your clothing or the wash water. This will take a bit of experimentation to fix on the right dose for your size of load & the hardness of your water but on first try with some very specialist sporting clothing this worked astonishingly well. Having tried many other brands with over the top claims of brilliance at everything save curing cancer, this one has actually achieved what it set out to do. Everything came out thoroughly clean & surprisingly soft with no added conditioner. Heartily recommend for sensitive skin, those who hate strong detergent smells, baby’s clothing, & fabrics that want gentle care.

Comes across as very mild, but still gets the cleaning done
I recently tried the kids & baby version of this detergent and really liked the scent, but as some people prefer, or need, perfume-free options when it comes to laundry, it’s great that that’s something The Lab Co offer. Just because it’s perfume-free doesn’t mean it’s completely odourless- it has a very, very mild scent which still smells like fresh linen nevertheless, but it should be OK to use with sensitive skin and so on. The lack of perfume doesn’t affect the cleaning power, which is top notch. When a product emphasises its mildness and eco-friendliness I sometimes suspect it might be a bit weak when it comes to actual cleaning, but there’s no such problem here. Mud stains, spilled food stains and so on, all come out looking just as good as if I’d used one of the regular big name brands. I’m happy with the cleaning power. The lack of a measuring cap on the bottle is a minor omission maybe, but it saves plastic, and you can plan for it by holding on to the bottle you’ve already got from a different brand and using this as a refill bottle for that instead. We shouldn’t need to get complex plastic caps on every bottle we buy, so in the long term it’s a good idea. At nine quid for a litre, I’d definitely recommend this laundry liquid if you want or need to avoid having perfumed clothes- or even if you don’t for that matter.

A bit weak
I'm not completely sold on this, I'm not completely sold on its effectiveness - it seems weak so I have to use more than I usually would. It is fragrance free which is a good thing for my sensitive skin but it isn't great value or so environmentally friendly as I'm getting through it quickly.
