It’s peasant gruel. Sounds elitist to bash a food item like this, but it is what it is. Almost flavorless, unappealing textures, gross to look at. Easy to prepare: Just glop it out of the box into a microwave-safe dish. If you can finish a serving, it fills you up. If you’re on a very low budget & haven’t researched other options, & have zero time for other microwave meals, it might be worth it.

Quick to make if you’re in a hurry. Good to have on hand for camping or in case of emergency.

Good but depends on how it's prepared, microwave could be little dry.Cook Half way add some water.

I hate leaving negative reviews but this tastes so bad that I want to warn the consumer. I couldn't finish more than a few bites (same as wife) and threw it away along with the 2 unopened boxes. I wouldn't give this away. Sorry to the brand / seller but this is absolutely terrible.

A little bit like a combo between a soup and a rice dish.

It’s really convenient for this, just heat up and eat. Would I buy it again?? Maybe if I was paid to eat it but otherwise no. I rather make it from scratch but it was still really good. And I wish it was cheaper but it’s okay.

I am so excited to have found these quick, convenient meals that actually taste GOOD! They are super easy to make, have great flavor and texture, and kept me full throughout the day. The variety in flavors is great to switch it up throughout the week. Being shelf stable is a huge plus, making the meal portable and I can keep some on hand in the office. Overall, I highly recommend!

The smell when opened should have provided a clue....but I went ahead and heated it up anyway. Bad idea! The stuff tastes just like it smells. Can't place the odor, but it's not pleasant at all. Horrible taste. Fed it to my dog....who turned up his nose and left it as well. Tried a second time, adding soy sauce. Nope. Did not help at all. This is just nasty stuff.
