Don't forget to to DO the exercises
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. 90% of the books I "read" are on Audible. The only reason I read this physical book is that I am a HUGE fan of David Rendall and his book THE FREAK FACTOR. I'm so glad I had this physical book so I could easily do the exercises to identify your strengths and weaknesses, then see how they are directly related. Those 12 pages were amazing and change the way I look at myself, my business, and my market.

Quick read, great stories and ideas
I love this book for all the great examples of how to embrace your weirdness and weaknesses and make them your strengths. It was a quick read, but left me with a lot of great ideas.

For You and Your Company - Embrace Your Inner Weird
The key message is differentiate your business to find a unique market. Do not bow to the pressures to conform to normal. One way to differentiate your business (and your personal business) is to look at weaknesses, celebrate them, turn them into strengths. “Every weakness has a corresponding strength.”The book is filled with citations from accomplished authors and examples from successful companies. If you study the companies, surely you will get at least one idea for turning your company’s performance around. I am intentionally a one-person company, but I found ideas I can use myself. This won’t be the first book you’ve read about differentiating yourself, nor will it be the last. But the authors have a unique, dare I say weird, presentation of the ideas. It’s also one of the few business books worth reading to the end.

Excellent read, as the great majority of Stan Phelps Goldfish series! High Value!!! Read it Now!
We are all imperfect humans in our majority. Phelps and Rendall use organizations' imperfections that are defying the norms to gain customers and market advantage in a fascinating and worth analysis of each business case. The book goes beyond your organization's limitations since you can also use it for your self in many weird situations. The real reality is that perfection is a theoretical target for all companies, and us humans are aiming for, but it keeps getting far away from us all. This book also highlights the fantastic ability of Stan Phelps to create differentiation with small things that generate a much better experience. As well as advance organizations' business objectives by learning of everyday imperfections — highly recommended for you that is "perfect" and who knows his shortcomings and limitations as a company. This book creates and provides a fantastic outstanding amount of value for any organization.

Don’t be a polar bear... be a peacock!
When I heard about Stan Phelps and the Goldfish books, I was curious. And that is the point of the book. Different is valuable, and should be flaunted if you want to set yourself or your company apart – because if you fit in you get far less attention! This is an entertaining read with lots of examples to help you identify the unique traits YOU should be emphasizing as the distinct “FLAWSOM” benefits of your brand. Highly recommend you read and apply the exercises he provides. Don’t be a polar bear... be a peacock!

Rise About the Noise by Being Uniquely "Weird"
This is the first Goldfish book I have read and I found it wonderfully entertaining and filled with practical advice. In today's world, it's hard to rise about the noise and get noticed. This is especially true for businesses since there are so many options out there. Pink Goldfish gives some great examples and exercises to craft a story based on your unique weirdness. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to craft a marketing plan that rises about the noise and gets noticed.

Why Be Normal?
Stan Phelps and David Rendell give you a great insight as to why businesses should be a little bit weird. It is our ability to be unique and stand out in a quirky, memorable and valued way that draws our customers closer to us. Well done gentlemen. Ben
