These are almost identical in size to a very old knife that is a family heirloom (my grandfather was a silversmith). That knife (the last of the set) has seen better days, so can now be retired to "ornamental". I was delighted to find a knife of almost the same size. Nearly twice as heavy as my ivory handled knife, but still very comfortable to use.If you want a small cheese knife, for individual use, these are the best I've seen.

These are lovely - much smaller than I expected. So we'll use them as individual cheese knives (I've ordered another two packs for this purpose) for dinner parties where everybody gets their own. I also ordered a "proper" big Robert Welch cheese knife set to match. Nothing wrong with the quality, just be aware of what these are - small.

They are on the small side but perfectly usable. They certainly add a touch of class to the cheese course.

C est vrai qu'ils sont plus petits que des couteaux standard, mais pour couper du fromage ça convient !!! Je les ai pris pour mon mariage, je les disposerai sur une grande planche en bois de 25x110 cm ce sera parfait
