The rain gauge was easy to assemble. You get your money's worth with this product. I have had the plastic holder before, and it slowly broke down. The metal part of this product will stand the weather elements. The bonus is the large numbers with the blue so you can see from afar how much rain you got. I would recommend this product.

this is probably the best rain gauge I've had. It mounts easily on the wooden fence and so far seems good.

This is a nice, sturdy, and easy to read and install rain gauge. The only thing that I do not like is that the measurement indicators are at .125 inch intervals instead of 1/10th inch intervals. This makes it difficult for me to determine how much rain was actually received. This is the first rain gauge that I have had that is not calibrated in 1/10th inch intervals, which is what I prefer.

I think it’s odd that the gauge measures on an 1/8” scale, not the more traditional 1/10” scale. Seems like a decent rain gauge though.

Large numbers are easy to read and this gauge comes with a metal holder that can be put into the ground. Very stable and sturdy.

This is the gauge you need if you want to "beat" your neighbor's measure. It has a small funnel-like top that sends more rain into the gauge than would actually fall into it if it was a true cylinder. On a recent 2.1" storm, this gauge showed 3.4".However, it is easy to read, and if you use your band saw or something like it to remove the funnel top so that it is a true cylinder, it works great!

I needed a new rain gauge after breaking my old glass one. This was a good replacement. The design and construction is nice and it provides accurate rainfall measurements.
