Replacement Whirlpool Dishwasher Pump W10348269 & 8558995

Worked perfectly! Super easy takes 15 minutes. Anyone can do it. Pull clip back to release wiring clip (picture with arrow) then push down on side clip to unlock pump and rotate pump counter clockwise 1/4 turn (picture with arrow). It’s that easy to replace. Make sure the hose is clear of any food particles.

Replace this on my dishwasher now for awhile and had no issues. Fix my problem and works great now. Before I had problems draining the water out because the pump burnt out due to broken glass jamming the pump. Easy to install. 15 min job

I needed to replace a failed discharge pump in a KitchenAid dish washer. Amazon product description states that it is an updated version of the original pump P/N 8558995C. I ordered the part and it fit perfectly, and only took about 10 minutes to install. My dish washer model requires it to be removed from the cabinet recess to access the back and bottom of the dish washer to service it. In my case this was quite easy to do. Big $$ savings compared to paying for a service repair call or a new dishwasher!

Worked perfectly in our Kenmore 665.13293K114.Water was not draining, we tried all the normal things.. cleaned trap and cleared hoses etc. Decided to try replacing the impeller motor (search YouTube for guides) and bam!!! That was it, apparently these motors can fail after years of useReally happy. Save us a ton of money. -Cheers!

For those wondering if this is a knock off part or OEM, it is IDENTICAL to the original.The part is very simple to replace so give it a try. Start by running a drain cycle to empty as much water as possible. Remove the bottom rack, then remove the cylindrical filters and plastic flat screen. The cylinder screen takes a quarter twist out (and you should be cleaning weekly anyways :) and the flat screen just lifts out. Then take a wash cloth and soak up the remaining water in the bottom of the drain area. Then go under and unhook the drain hose. Have a small flat container or lid to catch any water that remains. Then unsnap the small wire connector with the two brown wires. A little lift up on the snap will disengage the connector. Then grab the drain pump and twist the whole mechanism one quarter turn to left. Remove it and do the opposite procedure to replace. Remember to hookup your drain hose and watch it during the first cycle to make sure it was reinstalled properly.5-10 minutes and that’s it.

TURN OFF THE ELECTRICITY TO THE DISHWASHER OR THE WHOLE HOUSE. (I do the whole house because electricity is invisible and scary.)Disconnect the small power cable, disconnect the drain tube (into a bucket or, in my case, an aluminum roaster and have towels on standby). Quick quarter turn to undo the old pump - more towels will be needed.Reverse for new install. Less towels are needed.Watch an instructional video if you get intimidated. It’s really very easy and saves the $75 service fee for your appliance repair guy to do the above steps while you worship at his feet. We have all been there.

The pump works fine. However, I am NOT a repairman or the manufacturer. So don't ask me if it fits your dishwasher. Go online and check the parts list like my husband did.

My 8-year-old Kitchenaid was making a horrible vibrating noise when the drain pump engaged. One of the 4 plastic impellers had broken off. The old part was no longer available. Whirlpool substituted this part, It has 6 impellers instead of 4 but otherwise is an exact fit. I pulled out the dishwasher and turned it on it’s side to get to the old pump. It took me maybe 5 minutes to remove the old pump and replace it with this one. I ran a short cycle to make sure it didn’t leak before putting the dishwasher back into the cabinet. Easy fix!!!

My Kenmore Elite dishwasher was not draining every third or fourth cycle and there were no blockages in the line. I found this product and saw a few videos and thought I would give it a shot. It looks a bit different than the original pump but works and sounds just fine. The great thing is that no special tools or expertise is required to install this. I was intimidated about disconnecting/connecting electrical to the pump but it plugs in just like putting a USB device into your computer. Just make sure you take note of the position of the original pump before you remove it and put the new one in the same position. It took a few tries for me to get it installed tightly, but it wasn't difficult at all. I thought I would have to get a new dishwasher since mine is 10+ years old, but I guess I can wait a few more years. This saved me a lot of money!

works well.easy to install and way cheaper than local parts places.it fixed the pumping problem with my dishwasher.this pump had double the number of fins on it than the stock one that wouldnt totally drain out the bottom of the dishwasher.
