MITERCase for HiBy R4, Handmade Artificial PU Leather Cover for hibyr4 (Black)

I love this leather case for the HiBy R4 DAP. It looks sophisticated and cool. This allows access to the volume and control buttons. At the bottom, you can access the IEM jacks and the USB C connector.The MicroSD slot is covered. This means you have to remove the case from the player if you want to access it. At least, it’s not difficult to remove the case if you need to.The only thing that bothers me a bit is that the case don’t cover the top or the bottom corners. The HiBy strap seems to help with the top. Keep in mind that this is not a rugged case, but a more decorative one. In case you want to keep it safer, then hopefully another company may do a rugged case for the R4.Now if you want to keep your R4 device in style, then this is a great beautiful case.

Well I have to tell you it didn't scratch when I accidentally dropped the player on the concrete. though the top of the player got dinged. It's just aluminum after all. I like easy access to that top piece so I don't mind the free access to the top so I can pull it out of the sleeve. But now I wish I used the plastic case that came with it. This case is pretty decent for the price.

I really like the R4 performance but I'm not a fan of the look and this case solves it, it will also block the light on the back so I recommend turning it off in the settings. Its nicer to hold in my hand and the R4 fits perfectly while keeping it protected from finger oils and scratches. Something that i find both good and bad is that there is little space in the slots for the volume and play buttons so if you have larger fingers like me it will be more difficult to press them but the buttons themselves at least on my R4 are very sensitive and I would accidentally press them just by holding it before installing the case. I cant speak on durability but will update if it starts peeling off.

Highly recommend this audio player. Battery is the only down side.

Good looking, classy, good fit. It's a shame I don't leave the house with my HiBy R4. The plastic cover it came with is sufficient.
