Does what its made to do
This item functions properly assuming the item is attached properly. Recommend using good jean pants or thick outdoor ware for leg comfort. the strap held me in place no issues with an 18'' chainsaw about 47 ft. I already had my own rope and other climbing gear.

Tree climbing spikes
The spurs where sharp the metal is strong but the straps need to be real leather. They did not hold up well. It’s stretchy material. But overall they were easy to climb with. After buying new straps of course!
