Maybe I got a faulty one? It’s a GREAT idea - it held my iPad brilliantly at first. Magnet strength is excellent it’s the stickiness/glue that adheres it to the iPad that’s the problem. Only lasted 2 months in total which apparently is enough that I can’t seek a return or replacement.

These were FANTASTIC at first. Relatively expensive. And the adhesive these came with was terrible (I ended up crazy gluing the conductive plates), but I absolutely loved the whole concept. Unfortunately, after about a month or so, the strength of the magnets started to diminish progressively. Now, I'm constantly readjusting to straighten the iPad attached. Seems minor, but it gets irritating after over a month of dealing with it. So unless you have enough disposable income to simply throw these away and replace them every couple months, I do not recommend purchasing. Note: In the time it took to type this, I've had to adjust the attached iPad three times.

Take a look at the photos. I'm gutted as I've bought from Rollig Square on many occasions and previously owned the original edge kit. Having spent £60 on that, I recided to upgrade to edge pro. It was a waste of both the original £60 and on top of that another £100 on the edge pro and additional magnets trying to get it to work. It simply cannot support the weight of an ipad or external portable monitor, which is the whole point of the pro kit. It can't support on the side of your laptop, it can't even support it as a stand alone stand - use this at your own risk, because sure as anything your 2nd monitor will fall to the ground as the glue isn't capable. I've even bought the additional rolling square kit to try other magnets. They all fall off.
