Case has a great texture. Smooth but grippy. Super thin and seems to offer decent protection. Exactly what I was looking for. No lip for the front glass so either be careful or put on a good screen protector. Magnetic charging works just fine on my Pixel 9 Pro XL. I like the color and carbon fiber pattern more than I thought I would. Good fit and easy install. Very happy with my purchase.

I've had a lot of phones over the years and thus have had a lot of different cases. This is the nicest looking, nicest feeling, and slimmest case I've ever had on a phone. It's as thin or almost as thin as a wooden Toast adhesive case/applique. It's very similar to the Thinborne case but is less expensive and looks more premium. The Thinborne looks to have a cutout for the 5G antenna (not sure if that's necessary) and a more standard cutout around the USB-C port (compare them, you'll see what I mean), but that is pretty insignificant. The magnet is really strong and it seems like it'll be durable, especially with the aramide construction. Pick one of these up, you won't regret it!

so i have gone through 4 cases for my Pixel 9 pro XL. 1) case spigen ruged armor. only case availabe when i ordered the phone for delivery right way. Great case. just not the style i wanted. 2) thinborne aramid fiber case. felt "sharp" on the edges and didnt work with a pixel charger 1 or 2. returned. 3) Spigen Enzo Aramid design. great case especially for "extra" protection. will be keeping for situations that require more protection. love the premium buttons and silver accents on the buttons and camera bump. 4) Pitaka case: the best combination for every day use. feels great, not sharp works with magtec and pixel wirelest chargers. plus has a great silver accent camera bump.

So, when it comes to cases I went to my favorite manufacturer Pitaka. I have been using Pitaka cases for several years on my iPhone, on my iPads. I have been looking for this type of case for many years. The quality is amazing! Very thin and solid hard case material! Wireless charger is working without problem, the grip is good, fits perfectly. You definitely need a screen protector, because it doesn't cover the display very well. But it's not a problem for me (it's what I'm looking for), I have a glass protector. I hope in future cases they will remove the logo outside and will leave the logo inside the case only. Definitely recommended.

I had originally purchased a Pitaka Moonrise case for my Galaxy S24 Ultra, and as much as I loved that case, I did not like the Galaxy S24 Ultra and ended up returning that phone, and returned the Pitaka Moonrise case. I purchased a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, and promptly headed to Pitaka's website, only to be disappointed when I found out they do not offer the Moonrise case for the Pixel phones. I ordered the only one they did offer, even though I did not like the basic design, I loved the feel of the Moonrise case so much I though this case would be just like that one. Unfortunately this basic design case from Pitaka does not have the same grippy feel as the Moonrise case I had previously. This case is still a super thin, MagSafe Compatible case, so it's not a total loss, but I really do wish they had a Moonrise variant for the Pixels...Not sure why this case feels so slippery compared to the Moonrise case, I do not know if it's the same material that was used in the Moonrise case or not, but If I had to do it again, I would not buy or recommend this Pitaka Pixel 9 Pro XL case...

*Update: adding a star because customer service was great. There is no fix for the issue but they were very supportive and quickly processed the refund.* Overall the case is pretty good. About what I would expect for something in this price range; however, I've been using magsafe chargers for years and most simply do not work with my Pixel 9 Pro in this case. I have three different chargers that have worked with other cases on this phone, but not the Pitaka. I am aware the qi coils are lower on the Pixel 9 Pro then they are on the non-pro. So I would assume this case will work fine for the non-pro as if I hold the chargers a millimeter or two lower it works fine.
