My dog had surgery in both her knees recently and she was unable to stand up on her own so I got this to help her go out and move about while she was recovering. This has literally been such a game changer for me the past few weeks because it has given my dog the opportunity to not only go outside but start rehabbing her hind legs as she starts to build strength back. It's nice and soft so it doesn't bother my dog when she's using it and it's incredibly straightforward to use.

My dog had injured his back and hips. This helped me get him up and down the steps that go outside. He seemed completely comfortable with this lift harness.

This helps me and my 10 year old boxer get up and down the steps. It took us a couple of days to get used to using it but we have it figured out now. Now she can keep coming upstairs to bed to sleep. It is well made and the soft wrap that touches her belly is nice and cozy while in use.

Harness works well and easy to use. It's nicely padded with a layer of shearling type material. Buckles are on the straps that make it adjustable. We just slipped it under our girl and slowly lifted her back end. It serves the purpose and relieves pressure and supports her back legs while she's rehabilitating.

The XL version is working great for my 88lb lab who injured his CL. At first we tried the large, but that seemed a little small. We are using the XL sling in back and the L up front as he heals and gets used to a three-leg gait. So far, so good - and it saved my back from leaning over to hold his back end up, or carry him. One week in and we are very pleased with the product! Update: Two months later and we are finally at the point where the sling is no longer needed! It did the job 100% and held up to a scenario requiring multiple daily uses and occasional trips through the laundry.

Like most people said in the reviews: it slides. I ended up using it crossed through the front legs and only use it to help move a dog a few feet. Not an all day solution but works in a pinch. Wish it had handles attached to the sides as well because using the current handles doesn’t allow much control.

What a difference this has made in my 23 year old dog's life, and mine. I had a similar item for my 80 lb dog years ago. I was worried that the straps would be to short and I would have to bend over to walk with her. No such issue! I found this item to be well-made, comfortable for my old female dog and easy for me to walk with her. She is now able to urinate without falling over. The hardest part is keeping up with her now.
