This is a fantastic body wash and it saves me the stress of worrying about nonenal odor risk. I might not be old enough to suffer from nonenal odor but then again, who knows. All I do know is that this body wash works great, smells nice but not strong and does not dry out my skin. It is a win win in my book. It is a great value for the price and lasts a long time.

I don't believe I have the old person's smell and had never heard of it in my 77 years but I wanted to check this body wash out. Very mildly fragranced, nice sudsing, gentle to my sensitive skin. Decided to bite the bullet and wash my hair since it said could be used as shampoo. I LOVE IT! My hair and scalp felt SOOO clean and my hair listens beautifully. Best of all, no itchy scalp with which I started having trouble each shampoo I tried. This might become my new shampoo. If you have fine hair it may make it too soft. I have thick, corse, white, hair and it left it very soft. Only take a dab to bathe or shampoo. Should last a looong time!

I really enjoy the fresh, lightly sweet scent of this persimmon body wash , it’s the standout feature for me. The formula itself is on the thinner side, so I find myself using more product than I do with other body washes to get a good lather. It still leaves my skin feeling clean and doesn’t dry me out, but I do wish it were a bit more concentrated. Overall, a pleasant everyday body wash with a great smell, but the consistency keeps it at four stars for me.

My surgeon recommended this postop as part of my post surgical protocol for healing after Neurosurgery and I swear by it it removes all odors it’s gentle. It’s soft and easy on the skin, and I have always healed up incredibly well after surgery with it, whether I have dissolvable sutures or I have Poly Crill sutures. It’s a great price once you are clean and dry and has zero odor although I do find the actual odor of the product while using it somewhat pleasant it does not strip the skin and trust me when I say it will remove the worst BO ever

I really wanted to like this soap. I'm 70 and no one has told me I stink but.... So I used it today, feels velvety soft, nice suds and mild pleasant fragrance. However it does leave a cruddy film I don't get with my current liquid bath wash. Too many aches n pains to be bending over scrubbing a tub every day. Hence the 3 stars. I will use it occasionally when I go out with friends just in case!! If you dont mind cleaning bathtubs it very nice. Too bad for me.

If you're in perimmenopause or full blown menopause, buy this. I started to notice my body odor changed, and no amount of showering helped. I went from smelling like what ever fragrance I wore that day to smelling like a pile of day old wet towels (you know EXACTLY THAT SMELL). I happened upon a comment on something I was reading and someone mentioned that her grandmother swore by persimmon soap. I figured at this point anything was worth a try, so I found this and bought it. LIFE SAVER. I have no idea how or why it works, but it does. I personally wash with my regular soap first, and then do another round with this, but you do you.

I fell victim to the ads about "old people smell". Not sure if this is working in that regard but I can say that I am happy with it because the one thing I did notice is that it DOES remove deodorant. Often times when bathing it always felt like my under arms weren't getting clean ... that all changed when I started using this product.

The Persimmon Body Wash is my first try at using persimmon soap. I like it a lot -- the smell is pleasant, and it foams VERY nicely as a bubble bath. My skin is fairly sensitive, and I've had no problem with dry or itchy skin in the couple of weeks I've used the body wash. (My prior standard soap was Pears.) Honestly, I don't think I have a serious odor problem -- but I'd rather not find out the embarrassing way.
