It comes with two controllers which each needs 2 Double AA batteries, and the cars itself can be charged through cable. I noticed a button, when pressed cycles through different tunes this makes it more enjoyable because toddlers/kids love music. When we tried the function of the controllers it was responsive and easy to guide the cars around for crashing. These things are very durable! The cars would crash full speed and would eat every hit just fine. The goal is to aim for the sides of the car where there's button ejection for the Cat/Mouse to be thrown out the driver seat. Every ejection is hilarous for my son because of the sound affects the cars have when they fly out. We'd find our selves playing with this toy for hours so battery life is long! I recommend this for holiday gifts it will definitely put a smile on any kids face and be an awesome bonding activity for parent/child play.

This was supposed to be a Easter present but I couldn't wait any longer and I'm glad I didn't. It is so much fun for kids and adults! I didn't think the cars would be as big as they are so the size is great. We absolutely love them. The quality and thought behind this is amazing. It ejects the cat or rat whenever you hit "catch" the other one. It works really good and the battery lasts a long time. The cars are rechargeable and the remotes require batteries. We charged it and have been playing with it for days and it still has battery left. The music is a great touch to this cat and mouse chase. It was worth every penny. The kids love it and my husband and I have had so much fun with this as well! 10/10 recommend 😊
