A discrete fidget
This is my new favorite fidget. About the size of a key fob, it has four fidgets: a small ratchet, a little smaller than the pad of my thumb, firm enough to provide tactile feedback with a quiet sound; a metal ball that freely rolls, and clicks/pops when pressed, again, firm tactile feedback with a quiet sound; if needed, the sound of both the ratchet and popper can be muffled in the hand; a free rolling wheel, hard rubber, with multiple flat surfaces; a free rolling metal ring mounted inside a plastic holder. The entire device has a little weight to it, so it feels sturdier than just plastic. The ring fits my (medium sized) middle finger to just past the joint closest to the end of my finger. I like the combination of tactile, sound, and kinetic feedback all on one device. The device and all manipulatives are hard, and contained in the holder. This is not a fidget for people who enjoy soft or stretchy material.

I enjoy fiddling with this thing. I also like that there are 2 extra components on the sides to entertain me when I want to do more than just flip it around my finger.

Inconsistent - one is GREAT, one doesn't work well
The media could not be loaded. I purchased one of these for myself a few weeks ago, and I loved it. My kids loved it. Everybody loved it. It was quiet, the "environmental silicone" wheel spins quietly and infinitely... Okay, that's an exaggeration, but you get the point.What I *especially love* is that the ring sits comfortably above the first knuckle of my pointer finger, so I can spin it counter-clockwise with my thumb and middle finger. Can confirm, it's a better mindless habit than spinning scissors! [see video]Cut to: 4 days ago, when the second one showed up for my 12-year old daughter. I immediately noticed the bearings on the environmental silicone wheel were MUCH louder than mine- and its willingness to spin was intermittent. Sometimes it would spin a lot (loudly), and sometimes it would spin NOT a lot (loudly, but briefly).EDIT: The replacement is in and working as well as the first!

Favorite fidget
Versatile fidgeting in one fidget. It accidentally went through the wash and part way through the dry cycle and it's completely fine, really well made. The spinning function is smooth. Its a favorite so we ended up getting a second in a different color. Very fairly priced.
