Q: Are the sleeve writable so i can label the plastic on each dvd?

it depends what you are writing with . 90% of the time i would say no,but you can attach a label.

Q: Whats the best way to store discs to avoid damage & promote lifespan? Artwork or shiny side facing the plastic with a label to identify discs? Thanks

I always insert the discs such that the illustration and title are visible. I've had no problems with manner of insertion and it seems to cause no damage to the playing surface. To avoid too much inter- disc pressure, I limit the number of discs stored.

Q: Did you know pages are pvc that will rot and destroy discs? look for products that use polypropylene instead.

Anything plastic will disintegrate eventually. How long will this storage case last, I have no clue. I do have CD storage sleeves that used similar materials, but they are still intact after 25 years of use.

Q: Are the pages fixed or ringbinder?

The pages are fixed (glued) to the spine of the wallet. Strong and tough but not removable.
