Hi, you can adjust the volume to whatever will wake your son however you are meant to get up too, to make sure that the alarm has woken him up! You will find that it may well disturb the twin; we needed ours set quite loudly to actually wake our son up! I hope this helps.

Q: Is this suitable for a 15 year old girl or is it too child-like? does it really work because this is not something i can afford if its only a "maybe".

My son has just turned 12 and it had 100% worked for him and we had tried a couple of other cheaper alarms but this is definitely worth the investment. It has taken a good couple of months to be dry every night but it's made such a huge difference to the whole family. . Its more grown up as your child uses the online programme to monitor their progress so they feel like they are taking contol. I wish I'd bought this alarm years ago.
