Philips Hue Turaco White LED Smart Outdoor Wall Light, Works with Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit

Bought this last year for out the front of the house during prime day and we love the look and function of it so much that this year we bought one for the back door (again during prime day). Wouldn’t like to pay full price for it as it is pricey but I do see hue lights as a bit of a long term investment so if I’d had to pay full price I probably still would have but it was great to get a discount. It’s very easy to set up and add to our existing lighting scheme and it’s a lovely bright outdoor light. Particularly like that we can set it to come on for us arriving home so we never need to leave a light on wasting energy unnecessarily.

Yes, I will mimic what other reviewers have said - this is for all intents and purposes a standard outdoor light enclosure with a Philips Hue bulb included. But I don’t think this diminishes the product in any way. Of course you could buy any light enclosure, and there are many that are cheaper than this, but if you subtract the cost of the Hue bulb that is included then it’s really not so bad. The unit is quality, reasonably lightweight, and easy to install. But most importantly it’s actually made to fit the slightly larger size of the Hue bulb. Everything easily paired with my existing Hue bridge, even from outside. The light shines brightly through the opaque enclosure and lights the vicinity pretty well. I would recommend this product.

Massively overpriced, but good quality, as you'd expect from Philips. As others have mentioned, it's EXACTLY the same as the my garden version, with the addition of a hue white bulb. Wouldn't have bought on its own, but as part of a deal with the Hue Outdoor sensor it was worth it.

Impressed with this light, which is basically a nice case around a Hue bulb, and so long as you have everything else required it should work perfectly. took me about 15 minutes to install, replacing an old wall light but it's basically attach the wires, secure the backplate to the wall and slide the case over the front of it it. It gives a very decent amount of soft, warm light (obviously you can change the output or the bulb if you wish) which is welcoming and bright enough to highlight trespassers Would recommend

Looks really stylish and modern, nice metal outer which I was surprised with. Installation was really easy although there were no pre allocated holes to fix the light to the wall. There were suggested areas to drill in to but no holes. Products such as the ring doorbell came with a masonry drill bit, screws and wall plugs where as this came with a star key and that was it.

i ordered 4 of these and got them promptly as always the only problem was 2 of the units were used and when i fitted them i found out they must have been returned faulty as there was no connectivity to the bulbs through the hue app so rather go through the hassle i just ordered 4 new e27 colour changing bulbs so it has worked out a bit expensive .but other than that couldn't be more happier ....

As with all Philips Hue, you’re paying for the eco system, that said, these lights at full price take the biscuit - so my advice is to wait til they’re on sale, as I did. On arrival the product seemed pretty basic, a plastic body with aluminium surround and a hue bulb included. Once installed, it does look pretty nice, chic, but 800 or so lumens isn’t that bright if you really need to light up an area - these lights are more of a nice, expensive, glow!

I purchased these on a Black Friday deal as a solution towards providing light sown a very dark path alongside our property. The bulbs supplied and the fittings work as intended and the battery powered motion sensor works seamlessly with the set up and can be moved to near-on any position as it is not part of the light fitting. Great product overall and totally fulfils the purpose I purchased them for. Would recommend!

Dit is gewoon een Philips Bridge buitenlamp t.w.v. €32,50 met een Hue white 800 E27 lamp t.w.v. € 15,87. Samen kost dit € 48,37 dus je betaalt € 26,- teveel voor de Turaco. Die van mij is ook nog eens stuk dus ik heb er een Hue lamp in moeten doen die ik nog had liggen. Ik kan 'm ook niet terugsturen want hij is pas een maand na aankoop geïnstalleerd. Garantie? Geen idee.

Ein tolles Produkt welches unser Smart Home ergänzt. Montage und Inegration in de Hue Bridge verliefen wie immer bei den Philips Produkte schnell und ohne Probleme.

Funcionan como se espera. Los tenía programados para que se encendieran cuando anochece pero entonces el apagado automatico no funciona porque se vuelven a encender. Ahora los tengo programados para encederse a una hora concreto y funcionan perfectamente. También con Alexa funcionan muy bien.
