Q: is liquid supposed to come out from the threading?

Mine did at first after cleaning a pen that sat around for 10 years. But I took the tip off, cleaned around threading, put a dab of Vaseline (I mean tiny dab) and really tightened the connection and had no problems after that. I may have trouble getting the tip off again in the future, but confident the little wrench will work well.
