They work really well and heat up fast! I usually let them heat up for 30 mins with the case shut then open it for the remainder of my day with clients! They also heat up well in a towel warmer when you’re reusing them on the same client. (For massage therapy)

The size of the stones are perfect and in great shape, but I personally can not do hot stones as a 35 year old female. A back massage is good for me, but hot stones are just too much for my skin. I have a really high pain tolerance, but these I just can't do. My husband loves them so they're a keeper. The storage box is great for traveling or stashing under the bed out of sight and out of the way.

Excellent product, heats up nicely and the stones feel amazing. I don’t care for the design of the case and it doesn’t close tightly so carrying it sometimes it comes open and the stones fall out. That could just be a fluke with mine though. I would definitely buy again especailly for the price and the product itself works very well.

First off, the positive, the nice weight and size of the travel carry case is really great. Stones are smooth and good size for portable massage. Negative, as mentioned in other reviews, the smell as the stones heat up is awful when you open the case! The biggest complaints are: the temperature to heat the stones (which is not adjustable) is WAY TOO HOT, it actually burns to the point of painful…I can’t hardly get them out of the case to toss on the towel to cool as they burn my hands! Since I’ve used them w oil I can’t return them or I would). The other negative, with how intense they get really have to watch the surface the case is resting on. It will mar or discolor it. And last big negative, no auto shut off. Would be dangerous to use in a studio setting as one could forget to unplug it. Since my use of this particular set is only when I travel that won’t happen. Would not purchase this set again. (Too bad because I love the convenience of the little carry case)

These are basalt rocks which is a dark-colored, fine-grained, igneous rock composed mainly of plagioclase and pyroxene minerals. It most commonly forms as an extrusive rock, such as a lava flow, but can also form in small intrusive bodies, such as an igneous dike or a thin sill. It has a composition similar to gabbro. The difference between basalt and gabbro is that basalt is a fine-grained rock while gabbro is a coarse-grained rock. They help increase circulation, stones can also increase the rate at which the body processes nutrients and toxins. I would recommend these highly to anyone that has back, leg and foot pain, I put almond massage oil on my husband’s back and also when I use them on my knee or legs, they are great.
