The bristles on this brush are really stiff and they don't actually brush the beard, it's more like they drag over it.I rinsed it after a couple of weeks use and black water came out if, perhaps from the bristles. It smelt quite bad after rinsing.I emailed the seller twice but received no reply so Amazon ended up refunding me.

Nice small brush made from natural materials. Perfect for my short beard as it massages into the skin. Would buy again.Update: This really is a great product. I also purchased wooden bear comb which I now realise is more suitable for medium to long beards. I use the brush with both oil and balm with great results. Again, a very good purchase.

Nice enough wood base and good to get non animal ' bristles' but they were uneven and looks bit messy. Not soft. But then wouldn't want them to be. Did the job. But I don't think my friend I gave it to thought it cost as much as it did.

I was happy to find a vegan brush. The brush is small, but enough for short to medium beard. For very long beards you might buy a bigger one, but only if you are turning into a Viking.It is a little harsh, but it has to be in order to pull the hair in the right direction.
